This is a script by Craig Brewer. I love the movie, have watched it numerous times. This was an outstanding movie and song. The song won the oscar that year. " It's hard out Here For A Pimp." I loved the script, it was  so well written as far as the dialogue, it was incredible. I read the whole script which said it was 132 pages , however there were at least a dozen pages that were virtually blank, which I found strange. There were at least five or six scenes that weren't included in the film or changed.  I guess the script was too long.

The dialogue by: D-Jay and Shug was very memorable. Also the scenes between D-jay and Nora were very moving.  I learned a lot from reading this script about how to write dialogue and characters. I thought this was excellent work.  Marvin.
