Okay a few guesses. Most of them I just don't know, I'm thinking there were quite a few first timers on this one.
Anne Goes to Camp - Brett Criterion - Sandra Thrice - Sandra For Customers Only - Cornetto In Your Face - Leitskev Sweet Justice - Dressel Splitzkreig - Greg Dead n Gone - Lexalicious(just a hunch) Where Theres Smoke - Shawn First Time - SteveUK One Cold Dark - Reef Dreamer Slipping - Pia Lucy's Closet- Cindy
That's all I can think of for now. I'll try and complete my list as I look at some of the comments.
Phil - Remanent Pia - Slipping Cornetto - Sweet Justice Brett - Anne goes to camp
That's all I got. lol. It's difficult since someone prob submitted two scripts.
Just Murdered by Sean Elwood (Zombie Sean) and Gabriel Moronta (Mr. Ripley) - (Dark Comedy, Horror) All is fair in love and war. A hopeless romantic gay man resorts to bloodshed to win the coveted position of Bridesmaid. 99 pages. https://www.simplyscripts.net/cgi-bin/Blah/Blah.pl?b-comedy/m-1624410571/
So many of these are tough to call. I also thought Brett might have written Anne Goes to Camp. And maybe Greg wrote Splitzkrieg. I know it has to be a California guy who wrote that one. Maybe we all assumed Phil wrote one just because he's back, but he's just reviewing this time. So many questions...
Moving this here. I would love to see a discussion of people's top scripts. To be honest, I'm having a hard time choosing a top 3. All of these are about the same for me. Except for Dark Escort. That's only on the list because I like scripts where they do shots!
My Finalists
These are the ones I want to go back and reread. If I forgot one, I'm sure I'll see it on other's lists, and add it here. There are a lot of good ones not on my list. Sometimes they were good ideas that were poorly written, or sometimes they were very well written but the story didn't grab me. Obviously these are just my amateur opinions, hopefully they help the writer in some little way. This list is in no particular order.
Lucy’s Closet
Worth a second look. The story is attempting to grapple with the powerful emotional issue of explaining death to a child, and the issues of closure that arise when a young child loses a parent. It’s also exploring issues of time, consciousness and physics. A bold attempt, so worth wrestling with.
For Customers Only
Dark comedy written by a veteran writer. Some comic tension and scenario based comedy, and some funny moments. The writer may have been running out of time or ideas after the squirt gun was fired on the restroom door, but that was a great moment that makes this worth a closer look.
Slipping
Powerful emotional drama dealing with death and loss, as well as the dependency of old age. Very well written, an effective curve ball thrown in the middle. With more development could be a keeper, so worth a second read.
Wicker
Expertly crafted. My first instinct is that this can be made outstanding, but that as it currently stands, there are some logical problems with the behavior of the police. Perhaps the writer will clear those up after the reveal. It’s worth a second look because of the craftsmanship of the writing, to make sure I didn’t miss something.
Anne Goes to Camp
I felt this one crossed the line a little, but I could be wrong on that, and no one else seemed to think so. I also felt Nancy’s reaction of puking was WAY over the top, even for a satire. I myself am a history guy, and I hate how Hollywood butchers history, though it seems to me its motivations are usually ideological. So I should find this angle appealing, but it didn’t work for me the first read. I think this one would be expensive to film if the Anne at Camp cartoon was filmed, and I’m really not sure any producer wants to go there anyway. If there is no cartoon clip, then I’m not sure we have enough interesting going on onscreen. But this one is clearly crafted by a veteran writer so worth another look.
Dark Escort
Any story with shots in it!
First Time
This is one of my favorites. I need to go over it again. I think there were some problems with execution. The dialogue needs some work. Since I think most of us can see the twist coming, it might be worth while to add a little more tension and menace to the early dialogue, if that can be done without totally ruining the twist. Maybe just make it a little dark.
I’m also not sure about the suddenness of the hooker’s becoming so aroused by the young man. It may require some tweaking to make that work, and it might be better to dispense with the intercourse. She mentions she has a rule against kissing, and maybe kissing would be better than intercourse, more believable, easier to film. I realize that kills your scene downstairs when the madam smiles at the screaming sex, but is that really even needed?
I like the story because we see the loss of the young vampire’s final humanity. He has trouble with the idea of killing to feed, so he chooses a prostitute, thinking they are society’s waste. But he discovers she is very human, with kids and a heart that feels both anger and affection like anyone else. But he still kills her, and is thus truly initiated into the soulless world of the vampire.
What a Wonderful World
Anything written this well deserves consideration. We’re dealing with serious, gritty darkness here. It might be a little too much, and the death of the boy seemed a little convenient. Also, this does not seem like that kind of thing someone would want to film. Smoking crack, lying but in the air on the couch, incest, child molestation…man. That’s not something you can put on you tube when you’re done!
Remnant
Well written, with flourishing, believable dialogue. The idea is not new, so whether it works or not comes down to the details. My first impression was ‘close but no cigar’, but definitely worth another look. Couple of problems lingered in my mind: first, we need to know a little more about this black market procedure. How long has it been around, who else has the technology, what are the limitations and restrictions referred to? These are things hopefully I will understand better on reread. The other problem, perhaps the biggest since it was so essential to the story, was the reusing of Steve’s body. The guy was in such rough shape, I never really got that. Was some repair done? Makeup? I think resolving this question could actually lead to a real evolution in this story. For example, what if Steve was actually a young, strapping, healthy guy who got shot or stabbed, and had a short time to live. In fact, maybe he does this only because he won’t make it to a hospital. Then, when the next guy comes along, one could see why he would find Steve’s body appealing.
Sweet Justice
Excellent, entertaining writing. True skill and talent. Limp Wristed Larry is very memorable, mostly because of the effective dialogue. With the right actor, this could be hilarious. I think it needs…more. Not much happened. There’s no real character development. Its kind of like a character introduction. That’s exactly what it’s like. Picture a feature with an ensemble, and this was the scene that introduces Larry. Perfect introduction. I just think for it to be a story, there should be a little more. Maybe a short doesn’t need to be a story, though. Maybe a character intro is enough. I’ll stop into the lavender saloon once more before I vote.
Splitzkrieg
Fine writing, an engaging story. Might have been a little issue with tone here: was it drama, comedy, or something else? The things I will look for on reread: if it’s drama, is the tension and conflict high enough? If it’s comedy, is it funny? There was a lingering feeling that this lacked some kind of final turn or twist. The intended twist is that the Nazi is actually a Nazi hunter, but to be honest, I saw that coming and wasn’t shocked by it. I never felt any danger for the kids, maybe because of the whole children’s game aspect. Then after the “twist” we still have several pages to go, with nothing eventful happening. The moral applied at the end, where the kids are no longer interested in war, fell flat. I have to read that again. I mean, the Nazi hunter awarded them a British medal for bravery in the field. How did he turn them off from war? I have to go back and look.
My guess is that everyone that read one wrote one. Even if they only read the one they wrote.
Aside from that I'm going to go with
Anne Goes to Camp - Possible it could be Phil but I think Brett. Splitzkrieg - Greg (that asscrack line at the end is a giveaway) Criterion - There can be only one.
And that's about my guesses. It's difficult because there's lots of newer people whose writing I don't know.
If Phil didn't write Anne Goes to Band Camp, then Janet did...but I am pretty sure Phil did write it and is now trying to be sneaky cause he knows that we know...
Speaking of asscrack, I think there were actually 2 scripts with that classic "word".
What a Wonderful World - Jeff Slipping - Pia For Customers Only - Heretic Trapped - Heretic Anne Goes to Camp - Phil In Your Face - albinopenguin or Mr. Ripley not sure Dark Escort - Jordan Swift Justice - Kev Thrice - Sandra Dead n Gone - Lexalicious Lucy's Closet - cmhall splitzkrieg - Greg Wicker - Mark A Simple Question - Andrew Waiting - rdhay Black Winters - Sean

I would like to say Stuck Here With You was by Dressel but I haven't seen him on for a while.
I don't think Sandra wrote Thrice. Granted it was out there but the topic doesn't suit her.
Phil probably wrote two scripts but I don't think he wrote Anne. He's into dark humor but something about that script doesn't lead me to think of Phil. Probably the way the female character threw up or made retching noises a lot. That doesn't look or sound like something Phil's would find funny but I could be so wrong in that.

I am willing to bet an old Speedo bathing suit and 4 mismatched socks with holes in them that Phil is indeed the writer of Anne.
Really? Well, whoever wrote it, I will put them in the finale together with:
Dead N' Gone
and
For Customers Only
**Please note that all of these are in that same genreish location of comedy (in my mind) so they can't be weighed against some of the other scripts in the same way.
My voting here is solely based upon the fact that these guys/gals, really brought me out of some kind of stupor and made me laugh!!! And I know...
This is hard to do. Even if we have this kind of tendency, we too, as comedians, are only regular people and are subject to the same woes as everyone else. How to keep up the facade? That's a great chore-- but a comic must do so because:
He lives his job.
But how do we reconcile with the questions that come to mind:
Is our physical soul merely mutable? If so, what construct can we rely upon to designate any particular "character" within us.
I'm inclined to feel an affinity with Anne Conway, who lived in the 17th century and by her words, (was plenty far above them). ...
Anne Goes to Camp -- Brett. He's been dealing with lots of execs lately, after all... Splitzkrieg -- Greg Criterion -- Sandra Where There's Smoke -- Cindy Consummation -- Jordan One/zerO/One [room] -- Darren James Black Winters -- Darren James Seeley Waiting Room -- Rebekah Dark Escort -- Gabe
Revised a couple guesses when I realized First Time must have been written by a Brit. Also changed Spitzkreig to Greg after looking at the posts. I wish I could recognize more of the styles on display here.
I admit to writing "Still in the Cabin: Of Cannibals and Cabins 2". I apologize if it offended peeps and also apologize to Don, as I really appealed to him to post it and he's obviously not happy with the ramifications of the posting.
I'm still voting for it, though as easily the best written pisser of this batch, although there is some serious competition.
It would be impossible for me to try and guess who wrote what, not knowing enough about other people's work - and similarly it would be unfair to pick three, because I haven't read enough.
But I will say that one of those named above, I won't say by who, was written by me, and not the person they guessed.

No, you don't. See, you were more or less irritated with everything...and you darn well know I am here to give you a frakin' headache. Even that asprin in your hand won't help you!
When I read Consummation my first thought was: a whorehouse in the desert, a honeymoon scene that isn;t what it appears, death by dildo...Jeff! But his review was pretty harsh, so unless it's a misdirect, I think my instinct was wrong.
Splitz is a good story, well written and set up. I felt it petered at the end, even though giving the medals to the kids was a nice touch. I have it on my list of finalists. Could be a Greg. For some reason I thought of Ray, because he had a similar short posted a while ago, I forget the name, but I liked it a lot.
I'm thinking the cabin/bear one: Chris Heretic The chair torture one: Darren
Both of those stories had merits, but I think they need one more pass to get them into shape. A lot of regulars are busy and they bang stuff out last second. That's what happened to me. I even forgot the Fades it was so rushed. Had fun writing it, so worth the effort.
I keep forgetting there's more people here. Hopefully the revelation comes out soon.

I'm not quite finished reading yet, but thought I'd write down my thoughts as to who's is who before I get too jumbled with all the stories.
Most of the ones I've read I have no idea at all, and I'm not 100% on any of them.
Alone - Maybe Harley. (Hugh Hoyland) Because it's very similar to something else of his.
Waiting - Kevin, (leitskev), but probably only because he also has a short with kind of the same theme.
Anne Goes To Camp - I thought this one was Phil (dogglebe), too. But I wouldn't rule out Greg (greg) for it, either. Maybe Cornetto, too.
Stuck Here With You - As I said in the thread, this one sounds like one of Matthew Dressel's, but also Khamanna's, though I guess they haven't been around for awhile.
First Time - James (jwent6688) Could this be a prequel to 'So Pretty'?
Lucy's Closet - This one could be Harley's (Hugh Hoyland), too, because the universe expansion-thing reminded me of something in one of his other shorts, but for some reason, I got a strong female vibe from this one. Maybe it's just because the main character's a female.
For Customer's Only - Greg was who first popped into my mind, but I won't rule out Michael, (Cornetto), either.
Thrice - Although I've never read anything of hers, this has the air of some of her posts that I've read. (Pss. Sandra: PM me the links to some of your stories.)
Welp. Hopefully I can squeeze in a couple stories tonight.
I didn't think of it, Mark, but I do have a script like Waiting. The Station, right? That depends, too, on whether Waiting is a purgatory type thing, or a neat death. Actually, I have a near death script too! But Waiting is not mind. Must just be a kindred spirit.
Sorry, Darren. For some reason I thought torture was something you would like.
Where There's Smoke There's Fire: Stevie (Same author as Headlong)

Sit me down with nothing but fucking light beer and Speed 2 playing over and over on a giant screen that takes up the entire wall, and I'll admit to just about anything.
I actually like the guy. I still correspond with him via E-mail from time to time.
I'll admit I wrote Hidden...that's all for now...
I really liked/like S.R. too. He has a bit of an angsty personality that is very fascinating. He's a good person. Intelligent. Outspoken. Well, he has a lot of powerful attributes. Hopefully he'll be back again someday soon.
Yes, I wrote Hidden, Till Death Do Us Part, and Trapped...and of course Still in the Cabin: Of Cannibals and Cabins 2, but we all know what happened with that effort.
Yes, I wrote Hidden, Till Death Do Us Part, and Trapped...and of course Still in the Cabin: Of Cannibals and Cabins 2, but we all know what happened with that effort.
It's called:
Until Death Do Us Part. Does that mean you didn't write it or you didn't remember your title?
I forgot the title, as I used several different "working titles" while conceiving it.
I'm your sister in titles. Sometimes I begin with a title that sticks, but I think more often is the case that "the title" grows from the story itself.
Thanks Jeff.
You're truly a good sport and I love your essence. Other people might get this "hard line" thing from you on the surface, but I really do feel what you're all about.
It sucks, I know, when people start judging you by "yada-yada" whatever standards, but I can't help but want to defend you (not that you need defending) but I get this thing about you that is very much intangible, and it's truth to me-- the kind of truth that rings like the seasons changing. For instance:
When you notice the first day that you don't feel the strong need to start a fire in the stove.
You're like that Jeff. We can count on you for certain lines that you draw. Are they perfect? No. Every line has exceptions. And anyways-- that's what probably makes them perfect after all!!!
You knew those off the top of your head?? I'm Swedish and I had to look them up....
Besides, you missed the clue.
Well Pia, you make me feel better in the "look 'em up field". I can't count on two hands how many times people have mentioned something and I have no clue as to what they're talking about and so I, "Google it!!!" Alas, Google doesn't have all the answers. (What's wrong with you, Google?!!!"
Anyways, it always turns out to be a "never mind" because at the end of the day, I learn so much.
I didn't think of it, Mark, but I do have a script like Waiting. The Station, right?
Yep, that's the one. I didn't want to name it out loud in case it would spoil anybody's read.
I have to say, I haven't came across any stories this OWC that I've absolutely hated. They've all been about fair or a little better. There was one I didn't read the whole way through, but I'll go back and give it another chance later. I don't know if it was just me or not, but it seemed like such a struggle to get through.
Okay, so if Pia didn't write Slipping, then she wrote Exposed. Had to of.
Exposed - Pia

Mark, yeah, there were a few that were tough to get through. When that happens to me, I can never tell if it's my fault or the writer's. Some of the ones that were tough were trying to do something that was very difficult, too. Like Lucy's Closet. I read that one twice.

Got my list down to five. I might have to draw names from a hat to get it to three. Unless someone wants to campaign for something. I'll wait til later to vote.
Yeah, I had a top ten, and then as I considered, not only was it tough to narrow, but then I found 4 or 5 more that belonged, and suddenly I had a top 15! Like Don said, it's just for fun. I'd be fine if we did without the vote and went straight to the reveal. I need some of these esoteric stories explained to me. Criterion, Lucy's closet, the Waiting, the one with the glass wall, and the one with the ditches outside the window to name some. I want to know what was going on.
Unless someone wants to campaign for something. I'll wait til later to vote.
I'm not being biased or anything.......but I think Exposed fit all the requirements and would definitely be low budget. I think with a proper rewrite so the cancer thing comes across as being a panic jumping to conclusion thing when it's really something simple and "harmless" like hemorrhoids it would work better. Also the bottle thing needs fixing. I have a feeling the author had some issue with a bottle while writing this.
I personally like the WTF kind of feeling this script has and I'm sure that's what it was intended to be.
Exposed was not on my original top ten because of the bottle and ass picture thing, but I had moved it onto my list today after seeing discussion. Great intro and ending, couple problems in the middle. But all the scripts had problems. Except maybe Limp Wristed, no real problems with that one, other than there wasn't quite enough story to it. But that was a problem.
If I knew what the hell was going on in Lucy's cloest, that might make my list. but I can't figure it.
Bad, horrible second guess. Not to mention that I already said I didn't scribe it.
I'm not recording who says they didn't write something because that's iffy facts - it might not even be the truth. What I'm recording is who was put forward as a possible author of a script because there's no contesting that is what happened.

Why do people keep bringing up Dressel? He hasn't commented on any script I saw, so far, and last I saw his avatar read he was pretty much on leave until further notice. I'm sure if he wrote one he would be all over the board.

Dressel is not in the house and did not write an OWC script. Period!
I also did not wrote Consummation. That I can guarantee you all!
I predict Darren James Seeley wrote 2-3 scripts here...most likely Hidden, as his first entry that he spend all week on. Sorry, can't help myself...another Friday night with nowhere to go and no one to do. Trying to amuse myself. No offense, DJS...you know I'm just messing around.

I didn't, but you should take a guess at #3 just so MC can readjust the Guess List one more time.
No Dark Escort here, sorry to say, but it was easily 1 of the best scripts. As I've said a number of times, it missed out on a few of the guidelines, IMO, but you know what? It still got my # 3 vote, as it deserves to be recognized.
Sorry Darren James Seeley, you are incorrect, once again. And you'll soon see that I speak the truth.

Jeff, so you know...
I did spend a whole week's worth of work on mine. To average it out:
Say around six hours per day. That doesn't include research time.
That's writing time and doesn't include the week that was spent reading the posted scripts.
I just wanted to share that so that others that spent a week on their work don't feel stupid.
I understand, Sandra. I was just messin; 'round with Mr. Seeley.
I'm sure alot of peeps spent a good amount of tiem on their entries, as they should.
An OWC is a big time commitment, in terms of formulating ideas, actual writing, and of course, reading and feedback. If one can't commit to that kind of investment, one shouldn't enter a script, IMO.
Great job, everyone...especially those who read and commented on all the entries. Very cool!

I spent about 1 hour on mine. By that I don't mean at all that I don't respect the OWC or the readers. I thought hard for a whole week, but nothing came to me. I've been in a slump for a long time so to me, the fact that I did write something at all, even if at the last minute, it was a great success for me.

I know that, Jeff. But for the benefit of some others, I wanted them to know that if they're spending extravagant amounts of time, they shouldn't feel that they should pack 'er in.
That's right, because my your own admission, you wrote a piece of shit.
"because my your own" what? We'll see, bro...we'll see. Are you now saying I wrote a piece of shit submission? Which submission was that, BTW?
Why can't you respond to my earlier questions on Dark Escort? Did I write that? Or are you now confused and trying to back pedal in your foolish attacks of it? The actual writer won't be very happy with your BS late to the game feedback.
I cannot wait to see how you threw your voice in your entry. I highly doubt I'll be the least bit surprised to find out which of these 2 are yours. Always interesting when things are revealed...

You said you wrote the pisstake, took full credit for it. That was the piece of shit I was reffering to.
As to my criticisms of Dark Escort? There's nothing to backpedal. Either you wrote it or you didn't. You say you didn't. I'll leave it at that. Reason why I thought it was ? Your "comment" to me in that script thread. And this one. BS, you say.
So it is one of the last ones I responded to. So I didn't like it as much as a few others. I didn't hate it, nor did I rip into the writer. And don't talk to me about BS when you shovel it off in wheelbarrels.

For mine I couldn't think of anything to write. It took me three days to think up a story, ten minutes to write it out on paper, then about two hours to write the screenplay. I let it sit for two days, reread it, and cleaned it up a little.
I have to say that I enjoyed this challenge. I would have liked to read more, too. There was such a variety of stories.
Good work everybody.

The revelations are up and I'm completely shocked.

Thrice was a surprise. I can't wait to find out what it was about. Well written, just over my head.
Wicker was a surprise to me too. Could really work out with some fixes on the police response. Another well written one.
Wonderful World was excellent too, just extremely dark. How the writer was feeling at the moment, no doubt.
Sidenote: I got to watch 2 of Phil's produced pieces yesterday, and the really came out good. One was an OWC: Three on a Match. Very high quality short.
Henrik, when you right click on the actual PDF, the Document properties are shown. To change them/hide the/etc., I had to find a free software fix online. For some reasons, others have no problem merely changing or deleting these properties, themselves, with no added software.
I came up with my own pseudonym. No one noticed it or was amused by it. I got it when I looked at the tool bar on my computer. Don copied it into the thread. Maybe I'll make it an alter ego.

I must admit, remember reading it but I did not realize it was a joke until now. I even remember thinking it was an odd pseudonym...
That is weird. When I right clicked on both Pia's and Henrik's scripts, when the pdf properties comes up, I don't see their names anywhere. Just curious Jeff, does my name show up on my script? I specifically made a copy that was supposed to eliminate any name.
Sonofabitch. Gotta get hold of that prop eliminator before the next challenge.
You're telling me when you right click the title of the pdf, the name appears right there in the properties? I wonder why that's not working when I do that.
Jeff, I learned last year, (or maybe even the year before) from your comments that a person could go into the file specs and determine the author's name.
I was working so hard on the script that only afterwards I thought: "Swear word! I forgot to deal with that". Anyways, I work on a Mac and for me or you, if you're also on a Mac, you should be able to go into
Tools
Then choose
Inspector
And yes, low and behold, you'll see my name.
I can honestly say that I didn't check anyone's scripts because that's part of the fun for me and even Lexalicious's script, (I learned he wrote his name on the title page-- he must have forgotten) but I didn't notice because as you all know, I'm not that visual and so I easily miss things-- part of the reason I think I love to study screenwriting. It's a challenge for me to create visual pictures using words and then fun to see how other people interpret it.
For me, I'm not so interested in just coveting a visual form that I create, but rather seeing it grow and interpreted by other artists along the way.
Anyways, the hidden name within the file-- it's just one of those silly little things that we come across and need to work with.
For some reason, my Final Draft 7 had some bugs when I loaded it onto my new PC last year, one of those being when I hit "Save as a pdf", I get a message that says "printer name invalid." So I had to go to an alternate pdf writer and I used Cutepdf. The thing is Cutepdf has an option that allows you to supposedly make a separate copy of the file with all personal data removed. Now I find out that it didn't do that at all. Now I need to download some more crap.
While I think Jeff 'cheated' for using this technique to guess who wrote what, I would rather leave my information on my files should anyone try anything funny with my scripts. They may not realize this little nuggest of info.

Phil
Phil, I understand what you're saying, but you know what I honestly think and feel?
I feel that I have an endless well of ideas that can never run dry and the only thing I lack is the skill to implement/execute them properly.
With this as a pre-requisite, (so to speak) I think that many young (young isn't accurate -- I mean not so experienced) writers are fearful that their idea, (as if it's one in a million) will be stolen from them.
I can't worry about that kind of thing. To me it's "Meh. If you need it that badly, and want to so call steal it, then you must need it more than I do."
Now that's not to say people shouldn't be careful and do what they can to protect their work. I understand that. I'm just speaking from my perspective in that I feel that I purely lack the professional skill, and if I were to acquire that:
I would probably be executing so many scripts and so fast that I would need to hold Garage Sales to give them away at a discount.
My point is:
If one becomes so very protective of their work, then I think it can become quite a paranoid thing-- possibly a good idea for an OWC perhaps.
This I understand. It's completely natural, but people need to let go of that kind of thing eventually. You are a perfect example, Phil. I don't think you need to worry. You can always say, "There's plenty more where that came from".
Personally, to me: It's the author and not the script/story. With that in mind, my advice is:
Concentrate on being the best you can be and don't invest loads of money copyrighting and all that protective stuff. It has its place, but don't worry too much. Live your passion or else you might become a covetous miser afraid to part with a measly penny of a word for fear of some nameless unknown which is fear itself.
Don had something up earlier about choosing one script from this next challenge to be produced in audio form on Iscript.com. It was tentative and looks like it's been changed, but it seems like a cool idea.
iScript.com has sponsored the last three or so October One Week Challenges. I'm still waiting on confirmation from them that they will sponsor this one.

Ok, I remember. The link didn't turn up with anything, but you jogged my memory. Thank you, Kevin. Now I remember, the last time I remember Iscript was perhaps two or three years ago, and they will record it with the characters in life mode, so to speak.
My problem with it, (sorry Iscript) but I think the readers suck. It's not just you guys. Buy any audio tape from the library and most of them suck.
I'm not one for "speed talking" text. We don't speak like that for the most part and I hate hearing "voice" done as some kind of monotone spiel.
Anyways, yes.. Iscript. Loads of potential as a medium for any script to get "out there" when one is mobile and doesn't have the time to be in a stationary chair.
Phil, why don't you quit while you're only as far behind as you are already. Just some friendly advice.
I didn't reveal anything about anyone until others started their guessing, after most of the people who were going to read any scripts, had already done so. And I posed my reveals as guesses, anyway, just like everyone else did. As a few others, I went out of my way to disguise my submission, including using a different looking PDF than you may be used to seeing out of me. You want to be anonymous, take the time to make sure...I doubt that would have been a problem for you, right, or did you write this right at the deadline? Exactly...
I don't alter my feedback based on who wrote the script.
I haven't listened to any yet, Sandra. It's expensive, but if one can afford it, it could be like getting a table read. Not sure if there's value outside of that, but that's important if you can't set one up. And maybe there is value outside that too, what do I know. If they can get the directory set up, that would really be nice.
I don't alter my critiques of a script based on the author; please don't imply that I do. I read two of your scripts and I gave honest opinions of them. Get over it.
You should spend less time on 'disguising' your scripts and more time on improving them.
I was just wondering what the status was on the OWC that Rick is producing? Anyone know?
I think he wasn't supposed to talk about the status of the project on the boards after the OWC or at least I think he told us that. Either way if you do find out then let me know too because I'm interested.
Phil, you're amazing...you really are. In no way am I remotely inferring anything about your reviews of any of my scripts. Let's be 100% clear on that, OK? Not sure where that comment is even coming from.

When you responded to something I posted on this thread, you wrote:

That's pretty clear. That's where that comment is coming from.
Phil, this is getting beyond ridiculous...it really is.
You accused me of "cheating". You said it's not fair knowing who wrote a script. I simply said that I don't care who wrote the damn script, as I don't and wouldn't alter my feedback based on who the writer is.
Are you a little paranoid here, bud? What's your problem? Something you want to tell us, or what?
Rather than get sucked into this argument-of-the-damned any further, Jeff, I'm just going to killfile you. Maybe, if I ask Don, he'll tell me what scripts you submit for the next OWC so I'll be sure to avoid them.
Your most recent post says that you don't want to get sucked into an argument, yet this entire 'argument" is based on you accusing me of "cheating". Are you aware of that?
Then, out of the blue, in a fit of paranoia, you "defended" your critiques, asked me not to imply something I didn't about you, and finally...completely out of the blue again, attacked me as a writer.
Killfile me? Purposely avoid my scripts going forward? Where is this all coming from...and why? Were you upset by something I said in my feedback of your script here that you just can't get over, or what? I just don't understand where your anger is coming from and why you keep digging.
It's very obvious something is wrong with you here...it's just too bad we can't all find out what that is...you know?

Looking for locations at moment.
Had quite a few problems going on in my "other" life that's limited my ability to focus on it properly.
Once I find the locations, it should be fairly plain sailing.
