Good job, Henrik, Remnant was on my list.  I'm still in shock Phil lied about not writing "Anne Goes to Camp."  Just , just shocking.   Shoulda just stuck with my original guess.  But Brett "threw his voice"(new term I learned here) for his script.

Anyway, some of my wilder guesses like Reef Dreamer for One cold Dark Day and First Time for SteveUK turned out to be right.  So, I think I did okay with guessing.

Good owc.

I thought Cindy was going tell us how they got theirs.

This was quite a while ago. You, me, and Phil had all entered short scripts at the Gimme Credit Screenplay Contest. It was just before Christmas, too.

So, we decided that if any of us won, then the other two would have to send a small gift (around $5) to the winner.

You won. Phil and I were both finalists.

Since you were the winner, I sent you that Christmas ornament, had it engraved. It said that you were the winner of the Gimme Credit Screenplay Contest. I think it said the year, too. Don't really remember it that well... I'm not sure what Phil sent you.

Don thought it was pretty neat that all three of us from simplyscripts did such a good job at Gimme Credit, so he sent me and Phil a gift, too. The Simply Scripts Mug.

I didn't vote for three because I didn't feel I had read enough of the entries to make an informed decision.

Of those I did read, "Remnant" and "For Customer's Only" would have been tops. The latter lost points due to the ending for me though.

It was nice to read the comments on mine, which weren't too bad - some people even liked it!

I hope that I will be able to enter the October OWC.

Thank you for letting me know Cindy. That explains a lot. Especially why you got two.

I still have that ornament btw. Phil sent me a foam crown that you wear like the statue of liberty.  I have a skeleton bride in my living room. She wears the crown.

I just made it up!
I figured no one would assume I entered, with two pitch events on my plate last week.
I didn't intentionally frame Cornie, but you guys took up that mantle.
I'm unsure who started, but everyone ran with it.

Great OWC from all, loads of fun.
Big shout out to Henrik! I voted for you too.

Regards,
E.D.

Sandra, is there a bigger story brewing with Criterion? Looks like you have a really interesting novel in your head. Or could if you continue with the story's development. If you flesh out those ideas, that would be a great fantasy novel. A feature, too, but need to make it a little clearer.

I'll definitely work with it, but I'm just going to keep working in general because I'm extremely passionate about so much and I just love the adventure.

There was a lot of discovery that happened during the OWC after being inside the wormhole of Criterion. I'll be posting more in the thread, but I want to give people who are busy a chance to catch up and perhaps read it without my interference.

Hey Kevin, do you think if Dark Escort is made, I can borrow your horses?

It was low budget, so we had to settle for a mule and a cart, if that's ok with you.

A mule horseless horseman. Oh that'll go over really well with the readers.

We called an escort service and asked them to send a dark escort, boy did we screw up. We had to make a totally different movie.

To the victor, come the spoils!

And yes, I know this was a challenge, not a competition, so I didn't actually "win". But I've always wanted to say that. In any case, here's undeniable proof that I'm the proud owner of the coveted SimplyScripts mug!

Thanks again for everyone who voted and naturally the special thanks go to Don for organizing and donating the wonderful prize.
