Well, Bruce is working on "The Big Apple" and I geuss he feels the show has gone as far as it can go without getting old.

Maybe someone will revise the series at a latter date - uncancel it pehaps or
adapt a feature length version, possibly a script drafted by everyone involved with the series.

I do agree, this was a very good series.
The writers have a lot of talent so hopefully we'll see them help Bruce with his new series.

Are those special spin-off episodes you were going to do still on?  Like with Chris married in London, and Brock and Brian living together in Brian's old house?  Those sounded really good.

Personally, I would like to see another season of The Lunchroom, maybe an abbreviated season of 6 or 8 episodes just to give each writer a chance to do one more episode.

Not trying to take any thunder away from Simply Scripts here, but does anybody think The Lunchroom should have its own website?  Wouldn't it be a cool place to collect all the information about the show?

After much thinking, I've decided to renew The Lunchroom for another Season.

Crzypunk is right. We may be stopping the show to soon. I mean right now, during Season 3, The Gang are only Sophmores. So probably this will be the Timeline:

Season 1: Freshmen
Season 2: Freshmen
Season 3: Sophmores
Season 4: Juniors
Season 5: Seniors.

I've shortened Season 3 from 22 episodes to 15.
Season 4 will also probably be 15 Episodes.

While a lot of shows like "Friends"; "The Sopranos"; and "Everybody Loves Raymond" shortened their final seasons. I would like to have the Final Season have the regular 15 amount. So in the end, we'll probably have 68 overall episodes.

Also, I'm hoping to more things for Mr. Parker to do in both future Seasons and Episodes.

We have also made the decision to have Stacy leave the show near the end of Season 4. Many feel that she serves no purpose. I myself, have found it difficult to fit her in sometimes. But besides that, no real other regular characters will leave.

Also we want make the character have more stand out characteristics. This is what we're trying to do:

WILL: Leader. Sarcastic & sometimes cocky.
JOEL: Good looking. Most liked. Easily could be popular.
BRIAN: Big. Angry. Sometimes insensitive.
BROCK: Intense. Quiet. Much like Brian, but is less angry.
REICTHER: Weird. Whacky.
CASEY: The tallest and biggest one. Is mostly stupid and usually butt of The Group's jokes. (Like getting stuck in the wall in 2x01 "Against the Madness")
CHRIS: New guy. Black, British. Sarcastic like Will, but still is trying to understand America culture and the way things run around the school.

Thank you bruce for not ending The Lunchroom in season 3, I'm glad it will end in season 5, since they will be seniors and you guys can give them a good send off for each character, after thinking about it yeah, sometimes I myself wonder why is Stacy there, yes she does have some funny moments but why is she there?. Keep up the good work on season 3.

I like Stacy.  I was just waiting to see what direction you guys decide to take with her before writing an episode for ya, that focuses on her.

I like Stacy to, but sometimes I just wish she had a direction and a story.

Hey maybe they could have an episode revolving around Stacy and possibly satirize shows like the "O.C" ?

I liked the episode when Stacy got kissed by that girl.  So far, you've implied that she's interested in asian culture.  I've been studying asian cultures lately, so perhaps I could write an episode of THE LUNCHROOM where she visits the town of Rain, Japan, for some reason.  That's the town where my Banana Chan scripts take place.  I know that fictional town inside-and-out.  I wouldn't have her meet any of the characters from my series ... unless you don't mind ... but i would have her visit rarely-or-never visited parts of that town, so tha she can learn some little known things about the culture.  All i'd need is a plausible story idea that could cause her to go to Japan -- and a list of characters who'd be going with her, and why -- and I'd write that story.

A "Banana Chan" crossover...Sounds intriguing.

We do have two upcoming things with Stacy:

1) We're going to take up Ziggy W. on his idea and have an episode that mocks teen shows like "O.C." and the ultimate piece of crap "One Tree Hill."

2) Also, in the upcoming episode "Heart's Place" she shares in the most awkward thing a teen can...losing her virginity.
