I want to be on the writing staff for the next one, but can I make one suggestion:
We've gotta have a private message board somewhere where we all can meet and discuss our perceptions of the characters and our ideas for how the story should continue. Such discussions should be in a private, staff only discussion board somewhere, where although all the writers are sharing their ideas, Bruce makes the ultimate decisions.
If such a board already exists for this series, I'd probably take the news ... the news that I've been excluded from it ... quite badly, so if such a board exists already, don't tell me about it. Thanks.
Way back in Season 1, Brian's whole storyline was that he liked Cathy and spent most of Season 2 getting over her. So Joel is going to keep it secret. In fact, Joel won’t really tell anyone till the episode “Heart’s Place.”
And technically their not boyfriend-girlfriend which is going to be a joke that both confuses and frustrates Joel.
Just letting you know.

Yeah, see ... that's the kind of thing that should be private, and just between the writers of the serial. That's the kind of posting that we should do in a private board somewhere.
I'm working on creating something like that. It's just hard considering we're in the middle of a Season. But I will create something like that, and only give the web address to Writers.

Cool. I'll hopefully PM you about writing an episode.
After a 3 week break, I just sent in Ep. 6 "By All Means." Teleplay by Bruce Snyder & Edward Drogos Story by Bruce Snyder
Just giving people a heads up, it has a lot of gay and bisexual themes. In fact, in one scene a book called "A Buddhist's Perspective on Bisexuality" is discussed in detail.
Also John Mayer's "Daughters" is used.
Next on the lunchroom is "Home Is Where The War Is", an Alan Holman episode about Iraq and false identities. Look out for a Guest appearances from Kirk Hoey and Richard Belzer.
