Hey Dudes, just wanted to chime in and say how great the show is and ask two questions.

1) How are new threads posted?

2) I'm trying to put together a series, but having trouble with ideas, anyone interested in co-creating/writing a series? I figured I'd post the offer here cause alot of writers seem to come in to offer help on the show. For my ideas, I'm thinking a drama, but with some comedy injected in. Anyway, cya

What'd your series be about - or what's the general idea of it?

Well I've done a series before, but lost all the episodes up till the beginning of Season 4, and I cant remember most cocepts other than they were really good, and don't wanna ruin the whole thing with re-writes, so I could give you the basic info(which i mostly remember) and character detials, and start in Season 4. It was a lawyer drama, about the New York District Attorneys office, and a lawyer and his friends who work there.


That might work, or I was thinking a new lawyer drama, or a cop show, but I dunno about sitcoms. I find it eaiser to write drama and have the comedy come natrually in what the characters say and how they react, but I could try.


So basiclly, a court-thing or cop drama are my ideas, but I'm up to any input and ideas you may have

You're show sounds interesting, though it's not a genre I normally write for.
Why not draft up outlines and character bios and talk to a few other writers on the board?

Cool, I guess I'll read over the scripts to get a sense of where the characters are going.

I Haven't been with Simply scripts for too long...

(Well i have but i was inactive for a long time.)

...But my point is that The Lunchroom is my favorite Script on all of Simply Scripts.

I beleive it has it's own site, but having it on Simply Scripts is fine as well.
More people may read it if it's on a site like Simply Scripts instead of it's lone site.
You know, I actually happened across this while browsing this site.
If it hadn't been for this site, I'd probably never read "The Lunchroom".
