A long time ago, I lost the address to that special discussion board that's so special that the outdated internet connection I'm stuck with can't post on it, so because the only times I've ever went to read it, there was a lot I wanted to say, but couldn't, and it frustrated me a lot, and ... to make a long story short, I must graciously bow out of this. Thanks for letting me write the stuff I wrote. I look forward to reading the rest of the series. I will not be providing the cross-over episode that I wanted to write, and still do want to write. Peace.
Well Alan, it was pleasure having you write for us. We still have a few more of your episodes to be posted, plus with all the random scenes and conversations you sent you'll probably still get credit in future episodes.
Good luck with other projects and God Bless.

I'll return to provide at least two original episodes ONLY if you move the private staff discussion to a board that's compatible with the outdated browser I must use. Does this mean I'm a control freak? Probably. Will it work? That's for you to decide.
No. E-mail wouldn't work because the outdated browser in question -- the one I'm using right now -- isn't for a type of computer that uses any sort of Windows. The reason that's a problem is because this browser can read that discussion board, but it cannot reply to anything in it. That's a problem because A LOT of what I read in that board inspires me to have ideas for immediate replies, and I don't have time to go to my e-mail account, then back to the board, then my e-mail account, then back to the board, then my e-mail account, then back to the board, and so on. This particular outdated browser can't copy the text from he board into an e-mail message so that i can reply to each point either. However, a good solution would be if someone can be bothered to take time to send everything from the board to my e-mail account each week. The first week, everything that's been posted until now. The second week, everything that was posted in the previous week. And so on. That way i'd be able to reply to each point I should or can reply to, in a single e-mail. God i wish I had a computer ... like normal people.
I'm with Alan in wanting a new discussion board. Something that is easier to move around in and is less cluttered.
I'm unsure of how much time I'll have to work on it. Maybe a weekend or two, but if I do a new version of my new play, I won't have time. I've also started a Sims 2 machinima, so I'd be balancing between that. But that will start production in the fall.
The boards fine, it took Ed alot of work for that and most can get to it. Theirs always going to be minor problems with everything, but you take your good with your bad sometimes.
In many actual board rooms and most real cousils, all it takes is for a motion to be seconded before that motion is passed. A motion is made. If that motion is seconded, the leader passes it. Then it's up to the members to decide how to follow that decision. Of course, the leader always has the choice to not pass a motion that's been seconded, but that's not a topic that'd help my selfish needs, so I'll barely mention that possibility in this discourse.
I've heard both ends of this. And here's my final verdict:
We will NOT be creating a new board.
I'm sorry to do this to you, Alan. But I've got to consider all the other writers as well. I mean Edward created the board on his own free will because he cared about the other writers. So please, don't think we don't care about you.
The board has been up and running for over a month now. We've had production meetings, we've plotted episodes, we've created new characters...
...it would be very difficult to say to these people "We've got stop, destory the board, and start all these topics up again."
I know the idea has been seconded, but there are still a lot of others who are not liking the idea. In fact one writer said that this might be showing favoritism.
I'm sorry, Alan. But I just can't do it.

The Final Episode of The Lunchroom Coming Summer 2010
Man, I'm sorry Alan, and I don't wanna take advantage of your mis-fourtune, but while i'm working on a series of my own, I'd love to pitch some ideas if youd like.
And if you check my wording, you'll see that I never specifically asked you to or told you to. I just mentioned it as a suggestion ... just like how the creation of that board was also my suggestion. Oh well.
