Clearly not a script in the traditional sense but what a great little story.

Excellent title.

Congrats.

I have to agree with Warren:  This definitely isn't in script format, but the more I read scripts, the more I realize that format isn't everything.

A good story is a good story, and this is a good story.

My only gripe is the use of the word "torch":  I get it.  Not everyone uses a flashlight, but I pictured a flaming torch, and not a flashlight, and I had to re-read the block.
I thought the robot was  going to set something on fire.

I was the one who took out that option. I loved this story the moment I read it and it stuck with me for days. I decided that it just had to be made.

This will be produced as a claymation film.

As you can imagine it will be an extremely long process but I look forward to showing everyone the results.

Very interesting.  That will be well worth while when it's done.

Congrats to both of you!

Warren,

I am very glad you picked this up.  I very nearly didn't post the work since it wasn't really in screenplay format, however the story was compelling and in the end, I'm glad I did.

Please let us know how this goes.

- Don

As Warren owns the rights to the script, the script was removed from the site.  However, I wanted to keep the thread up to spread the good news.

Don,

I couldn’t agree more. It’s quite simplistic but it really struck a cord with me.

Funny thing is I’m usually on the side of the format police. I’m so glad I gave this one a go.
