P & R, I found the story easy to read. I avoid commenting on another writer's style or structure. It's all about the story for me. If it works, it works. I must admit I was hooked and couldn't wait to see who or what Millie left behind.; so bravo here. AND even relieved when Millie discovers "all is well". AND then the real story kicks in. So Ethan is an 8 year old cannibal? Starving for 2 years. He looks awful. Like a feral animal. A chimpanzee. The description was colorful and the conflict between Ethan and Millie certainly entertaining. Although I wasn't convinced that a 22 year old former camp counselor couldn't take out an 8 year old; skinny and starving or not. I kind of assumed that you wanted the reader or audience to have questions at the end: Did Ethan eat his family or the other campers or all the above. Maybe it doesn't matter. The Food Button signals the Coast Guard? They show up and he eats them? Millie is the dinner this time? None the less, the story was damn entertaining! Write on.
