To bring everyone in on the joke, my notification email,

"Just a quick note to let you know that your script for the One Week Exercise
is up at: http://www.simplyscripts.com/unpro_short_exercise_04_07.html
There were twenty five entries of which 15 were posted.  The rest were, to
put it mildly, a mess.  You you all get an extra 5 points for speling,
punctuation; grammaring and,  not using capitalization in a totally raNdoM
manner."

To those foks who didn't make the cut I did send them an email pointing out at a high level what they needed to do to bring their script up to snuff.  I'm a little more critical of the scripts for the OWE since the purpose of the exercise is to not only produce a script quickly, but also produce a script quickly that would pass muster in the industry (i.e., correctly formatted, spelling checked, punctuation and grammar in a generally agreed upon standard.  NOTE: Rejection or Acceptance of the script had nothing to do with the content of the script or the story.  You could have had the very best story in the bunch, however it was hidden by the structural problems.

Yeah, but even if I didn't tell you, I bet you could still find out which one I wrote.

I'm guessing "Oh Sh*t" based on your fascination with foul language and inappropriate behavior.

There was a little bit of a joke in my previous post, Zack.

Go read and comment.

Regarding the names used this month.  This month's names of authors (until the real authors are revealed) are from a short story which is a favorite of mine.  This short story was made into a movie and is the one case, in my mind, where the movie was better than the source material.  The names were randomly selected is all cases but two where the submitter picked their own pseudonym.

I've read three entries so far and so far, so good. Quality stuff. Nice turnout this time around. Better than last time. I was worried this one would be lacking entries. Glad to see that's not the case. I'm also glad to see the numbers of pages were omitted this time around. I've noticed in the past OWC that scripts on the longer side don't get as much attention as those on the shorter side, I just never thought to mention it. Personally, I think it's better this way. Every script gets an equal shot at getting read this way. It's up to the loglines to hook readers this time around, as should be the case. Not sure who came up with that one but I think it was a good idea.
