A Line In The Desert by Tomas W. Beaumont - Thriller - Tensions along the Arizona/Mexico border are reaching a boiling point. Someone is hunting illegal immigrants seemingly for fun. A militia group is attempting to build a wall to keep Mexicans out. The Border Patrol and local law enforcement are stretched too thin to be effective. The flow of humanity across the border is unrelenting. An idealistic young Border Patrol agent is caught in the middle as he weighs the consequences of being either part of a continuing problem, or perhaps helping find a sollution.  108 pages - doc, format

Beaumont:

I see it's been a while since you posted this but I was gonna take a look.  Problem is... I use a Mac and the .doc format makes it painful for me to navigate.  Hard to read it that way.  If you could repost it as a .pdf  I would be willing to give it a read.

Based on the concept and 1st few pages, i like the potential.  Also, seems very loosely related to something I've written so I feel like I could help you through any problems using my own experience with the process.
