Crawl Space by Jean Weems - Thriller - A woman vigilante justice on pedophiles from a severely damaged childhood arranges a family reunion with her molesting father to gain peace; seeks love from unconventional circumstance. 99 pages - pdf, format
This was a little bit like watching a 3-D movie upside down - sensory over-kill. I had a bit of a 'wow' moment when I opened it up - I think you could make this a little easier on the eye TBH. You got stuff going on, it's just a task getting to it.
Jean, as Dena mentioned earlier, your logline is just absolutely terrible. Talk about a run-on sentence that is just about impossible to make sense of...not a good start.
And then, opening up your script, again, not a good start at all, with no title page, the Copyright on the top of Page 1, and then your actual writing, which is pretty much unreadable for me.
Unfilmables right out of the gate, fragments, run-ons, lines that don't make any sense, missing words, orphans, Slugs that seem to be squeezed in on top of each other...
I'm gonna go ahead and play the "good cop" and just say kudos on completing a feature. That's more than most people have accomplished. But yeah, you've got serious technical issues here. Your screenwriting software needs to be adjusted for starters. Some of your dialogue is missing spaces.
Also you might wanna check out a script on this site called "What Doesn't Kill You". Same subject matter and well written.
