I decided to convert another feature script of mine into a limited series instead. This script was originally a continuation of the Dragon Ball animated series, now it’s an IP inspired by it.

The series is titled Help Save Humanity! Here’s a logline and breakdown of the pilot:

Pilot - Threat Level Ten

Logline: A cop seeking unlimited strength defeats an evil alien, then joins the war against a second space invader after it gains extraordinary power, millions of minions, and hatred for the human who murdered its mate.

Synopsis:

A young man, LURRY HATOVA, inherits military vehicles and equipment from his dead grandfather. Lurry teams up with a university professor who becomes his right-hand man, KLYVO, to help him become new Ruler of Sector One. Together they create two lab-grown alien creatures and orchestrate the arrival of the Rust War.

PARSEP, a police officer who thirsts for power, is fired from his job for being too aggressive. He decides not to tell his long-time girlfriend, WANEETA, the unfortunate news. On Parsep’s final day on the job, an android, 2-10, steps out from his time machine at the outskirts of the city.

During his night shift, Parsep gets drunk at a bar. While there, a HITMAN assassinates a purple-skinned, war-torn samurai, MADDU. The hitman displays strength Parsep had never seen. Parsep is envious and challenges the hitman to a fight in the parking lot of the bar. Parsep is defeated easily.

Parsep returns to his car and receives a call from the station to investigate a disturbance at the outskirts of the city. Parsep arrives at the source of the disturbance. It was a meteorite housing the two man-made aliens. Parsep finds his ex-partner already there, and stuck on the back of his neck is the first alien creature, KAWNINGWA, that now controls him and makes him powerful.

Parsep fights his possessed co-worker and in the end he manages to kill Kawningwa. Parsep radios in the potential threat. He is told to go home and that it would be taken care of and not to worry. He complies with his orders.

Parsep patches up his wounds and starts his vehicle to go back home. He’s interrupted by 2-10, who tries to convince him to leave the city while he still can since he is critical to saving the planet. Parsep hates being told what to do and instead fights 2-10 and defeats the android since his battery life is nearly depleted. Parsep breaks off 2-10’s hand and learns he’s robotic. Parsep departs while 2-10 reattached his hand.

Parsep has breakfast with Waneeta, then he gets ready to go to the police station to pack his belongings and turn in his badge. He decides to walk there, and Waneeta makes a comment on how hot it is outside. On the way to the station, Parsep spots more alien host bodies in the street and prepares to fight them.

A police van pulls up in front of him to intervene, and his fellow officers escort Parsep back to the station. Parsep and the rest of the officers hear a mass radio broadcast go out which states everyone should head to the nearest safety zone.

On the way to Parsep's home, the van he and his fellow officers are in faces an ambush and Parsep is the lone survivor. Parsep battles the aliens the best he can. Still he is beaten and would be dead, if not for 2-10's intervention. 2-10 is destroyed for good this time and his final words are for Parsep and Waneeta to flee to safety so that someone else will live. Parsep runs home and he and Waneeta get in their car and drive to the nearest safety zone.

At the outskirts of the city, the hitman stares at a strange orange glow that shines over the city. He hears strange sounds from all around him and he looks afraid. The hitman goes into his fight-stance. Many small mutant animals who made contact with the second lead alien, EILDRENG, leap out of the forest and they attack the hitman. After being defeated, the hitman is taken to Eildreng and his body and strength are absorbed by the alien.

Far from the alien invasion, a very lonely man, REJINALD, finds a lost laboratory in the forest. Inside there are hundreds of androids that no longer function. Rejinald studies the androids and decides to build one for himself, and so he creates 2-10, who becomes his first friend. Eventually 2-10 feels Rejinald should re-enter normal society, so he helps build up his creator’s confidence until he decides to do this for himself.

At where the aliens made contact, the area glows an eerie orange and the temperature is unbearably hot. Parsep and his fellow soldiers explore the area and look for alien hosts to kill. The soldiers all wear bio-suits that increase their strength and lower their body heat drastically. The soldiers fight and kill a cluster of hosts. Afterwards, they de-contaminate the area with some sort of sparkly, neon-blue spray.

Parsep, back at base camp, chats on the phone with Waneeta, who is at a safety zone and is now pregnant. Back inside the infestation zone, Parsep and his crew fight  more alien hosts until the second lead alien, Eildreng, arrives and challenges Parsep to fight. The alien has absorbed the hitman’s strength and defeats Parsep. Eildreng is about to absorb him, except Parsep is saved by a fellow soldier, ALPHAL, and they retreat back to their base.

Rejinald returns years later to the laboratory to speak with 2-10. He tells his creation that he now has a family who he fears for because of the alien invasion threat. 2-10 decides to fight against the evil alien threatening his creator and his family.

2-10 travels to the army base and senses Parsep’s power. 2-10 tries to recruit Parsep, although he refuses to fight with him. Instead Parsep tries to fight 2-10, except this time 2-10 has nearly a full battery life. It’s a close fight and Parsep manages to reign victorious in the end. He almost destroys 2-10 completely.

Parsep travels alone to challenge Eildreng, except the alien is already in the middle of a fight with five young new arrivals, who hold their own against it. One of the fighters, Parsep’s future son, spots Parsep and attacks him with intent to kill. The fighter is interrupted by his friends being in danger and spares his father to kill Eildreng instead. 2-10 has rebuilt himself again and goes to Parsep’s aid with help from the soldier Alphal.

The war has been over for a few months, and at the hospital, Waneeta gives birth to PARGUS, then hands him to his father, Parsep. When he sets eyes on his son, Parsep knows he has already seen him do battle and save the planet as a young man
