Did anyone read The Crow: Wicked Prayer by Norman Partridge? The book was awesome and I think the movie will be too.

I read it and enjoyed it from beginning to end. Most enjoyed the fact, that it focused more on the villians and gave us some further depth into the Crow mythology.

Moviewise, I'm not expecting much.  I enjoyed the three CROW's thus far, but it seems every sequel seems to fail to live up to the original.  The studio should have done Rob Zombie's.

While I enjoy all 3 Crow films, the first being in my top ten favorite films, I enjoyed the Wicked Prayer novel.  The movie sounds as if it is going to use a few elements of the novel and that's about it.  Early buzz is that Miramax/Dimension is happy with what they've seen so far, but knowing M/D, the film will be shelved for a few years before it's finally released.  As far as Rob Zombie's Crow: 2037, I enjoyed the script, but it was just too far removed from what The Crow is, I didn't feel for the main character at all, which I think it an important aspect of The Crow...or any other film or story or novel.
