There seem to be a lot of zombie fans around here so I thought I might as well start a thread about this amazing book.

It is written by a guy called Max Brooks (son of Mel Brooks). Basically it is a book that details how to survive a zombie attack. Dealing with such things as what weapons to use, the best vehicle to use and of course where you can go to hide from then and things like that. The beautiful thing is although it is an absolutely absurd plot Brooks writes it completley serious, never breaking the act.

Anyone else want to commeny on this masterpiece?

(And hopefully Wes won't come along and get this thread locked!   )

Lol I'm currently reading the book right now, and I must say, it's pretty interesting. All the things I thought I could use to survive the zombie apocolypse has now been crossed out after I started reading this book. But I now know that I should stay in cold, snowy weather, I need to started practicing riding a bike fast, I need to keep my hair short, and I have to stay away from shallow water that looks like it could be safe.

I love this book, though people look at me really weird when I'm reading it, and IF there does happen to be a sudden exposure to radiation from Venus, an evil corporation makes viral weaponry that goes wrong, a virus, or voodoo hits this city, country, or the whole world, then this book will probably save mine and our butts!

Sean

I read it quite some time back. In fact it put my own zombie survival guide on hold.

Then why are you learning about how to kill them?

It was either that or "If you love them so much why don't you marry them"

It's called 'necrophilia,' and I'll thank you not to mock my choice of lifestyle.

Techically necrophillia is to do with dead bodies not reanimatied dead bodies but I'm on his side still.
