Batman: A Fallen Knight (Season 1 Story Arc) by Matthew Orobko - Action, Treatment - A story arc for the first season of an animated series called Batman: A Fallen Knight. The series, detailing the exploits of Batman in Gotham City, is aimed towards mature viewers. In the first season, Batman comes to grips with the facts that he may not be able to single-handedly save the city while at the same time maintaining an appropriate personal life as Bruce Wayne. Season one also sees the appearance of villains such as The Joker, Poison Ivy, Two-Face and a very dark version of The Mad-Hatter.  11 pages - pdf, format

Hi Matthew

This is was a very interesting treatment. As a Batman fan for more than 13 years i can truly say that this is a lot
better than some of the animated series i've seen.

I like the your way of placing things, with which villain to strike first, and ending the season with a friend and now
a foe.

I would love to read any script of these series, you got me interested in it because i always wanted to make a superhero
script/movie and Batman has been my choice.

I'm curious is this treatment in the hands of the DC Comics or Warner Bros. Are you going for this, or did you just write
it as a Batman fan, or just for pleasure?

Cheers
Nik

I say the same thing as Nik, Matthew, I thought this would turn out to be a good animated series of Batman

However, one thing that surprised me was the identity of Batgirl at teh end of your script.

However this is a new twist on Batman and I think its for the best.

Plus its animated! I was wondering though, is it going to be done in the japanese anime style, or like the ones right now?

I find televison very educational. Everytime someone turns it on I go to  another room and read a book

I really liked the direction this series would take were it made.  They’ve tried (in the last two movies more so than the first few) to show the human side of Batman, but I believe that your series would do a much better job of it than those have.  You also took things in a very different direction with the way you would depict the Mad Hatter.  Of course you stated that this would be a series aimed at a mature audience, so that would work.  You’ve made Poison Ivy an interesting character which to me is an accomplishment since, to be honest, she’s always been one of my least favorite Batman villains (even before the horrible Batman And Robin hit the screen).  As the above review stated I’d love to see any scripts you may have written from these ideas.  I’d also love to see a treatment for Season 2.
