I read this awhile back on Pia's site. I liked the first Crank, unbelievable yes, but fun. This one was TOO unbelievable, I tried to 'suspend my belief' but just couldn't do it. It's rather horrible and the humor didn't work.

I saw this movie by virtue of nothing else being on, and enjoyed it.

Hadn't seen the first one, but this one clearly took the notion of a real-time GTA, and exploited it for a decent film.

Worth a look. The script is likely to be one of those that works better on screen.

The more people bash this movie, the more I want to see it. I loved the original for the same reasons people hated it and I hope the new one is even more stupid and ridiculous. It's not the kinda movie I tend to watch and I have never been a big Jason Stathem fan but now it's easily my biggest guilty pleasure (and I liked Enchanted). I'd read the script but Crank 2 is not the kinda movie I'd like to go into knowing what happens. Besides, I doubt the script can even suggest how insane it really is. Can't wait to see it.

That girl who played his girlfriend finally gets naked for the movie but she wears black x's on her nipples... what's the point? That is the first time a stripper has been pointless in a film, like if Demi Moore did Striptease in a bra. Just get one of the other thousand blondes in Hollywood to do it. They also blur out the actual sex scene on the horse track.

I watched some of the film and stopped.

It continues from the last one so if you liked it you will like this and if not you will hate it.

Most action films are unbelievable cause in them the bad guys can't hit anything with guns so what's the point in having them. Even the main villains which makes no sense.

I LOVED this movie. It was so freakin' insane. This isn't a review thread though, so I won't go on.
