Hello there.

I'm a 13-year-old high school student who dreams of being a screenwriter in the future. My friends thinks it's lame but I still keep on dreaming.

I've never had an interest in screenplays until I came across a screenplay of my favorite movie on the internet. After that, I've read a few screenplays (I've read two screenplays from this site) and I got really inspired.

I actually wanted to be a graphic designer since I have shown some serious skills on graphic designing. But, when I tried writing screenplays, it feels good for some weird reason.

I am not from US and I'm also not from an English-speaking country so I might make some mistakes in English and grammar. I am from Asia but I do not live in a country where the people loves their language so much that they don't even show intention to learn English.

This is kind of long but I have nothing better to do. Okay.... I'm off to continue working on a screenplay. =)

Well, I gotta' say Dude you have a pretty firm grasp of the English language if your intro. is any indication.

It's good to dream. Hold on to that dream - you're very young, so you've plenty of time to work towards making that dream a reality. Regardless of what anyone else says it sounds like you've "got the writing-bug" so, keep on keeping on.

Thanks for that.

My English is actually the result of too much reading and too much internet. Movies also helped in enhancing my English.

A lot of years ahead so that means I still have around 50 years to achieve success in screenwriting. =)

Dude, your writing is great.

There's a few people here on this site where English isn't their first language.

I'm sure you'll do great here on SS.

I've been hanging around SS for about month back when I was 12. I waited until I turned 13 before I registered.

I like how people call me 'Dude' because of my username. I'm actually working on a horror screenplay although I've never liked a horror film in my life. I get really disturbed when I watch one that I think about it on my sleep.

Welcome to SS Dude.  I wonder why your writing a horror movie when you don't like them lol.  One word of advice, make sure you get the format right.  If not sure, read a few scripts here.

As others have said, your writing is very good for someone of your years and origin.

Best of luck of with your work. I'll look foward to seeing it.
