Hey everyone I'm just a filmmaker looking for a short horror script for a local film festival here in Utah. I plan on filming in the next couple of weeks and can't think of an idea. If anyone would like to send me some scripts I would love to read them. I tried looking through the short scripts but it's hard to find what I'm looking for. I can only offer credit on the project and my promise that I will try my hardest to make your project come to life. Thanks!

Also I don't mind if it is a Horror film with a sub-genre! I really would like a horror comedy but will settle for anything that hits me the right way. Thanks!

How long of a script are you looking for, Wayne?  Under five pages?  Under ten?  Under thirty?  This there going to be anything resembling a budget here?

Do you have anything of yours on the web that we can look at?  Tell us about yourself.

You've already seen my stuff Dogglbe lol. I wanted to do you Orange Menace before I realized someone else had already done it lol.

My budget will be very small, but that's ok cuz I own all my own equipment (cameras, sound, editing bay, lighting, etc). So I'll get costumes and actors for cheap if not free.

I'm a new filmmaker, I started making films when I was in High School and just have a passion for it. I was in a business where I helped produce a couple of commercials, ran a few film festivals, produce a local show, and some videography(bleh!). I did this till I was ran out of the company for dumb reasons. So film hasnt been a priority for awhile after this incident. I have a couple of shorts on youtube but thats it.

I'm not going to say I'm a pro at this but the passion is there. If anyone has a couple of scripts I'd love to read them. Thanks!

Howdy, Web Wayne

I think horror comedy will suit your acting pool just fine.
Mrs. Bailey needs a little less stage acting in her cinema acting though.
You need to edit in more <1second closeups.
You need better sound equipment and supplemental lighting if you're going to shoot inside.
That was some NIIIICE mountains in the intro.
Get your butts outside.

A sing-along-musical in the car with zombies/ or corpses would be fun. People like a good tune.

Passenger on a road trip to a mountain cabin reading "Zombie Survival Guide" gets heckled by driver + car mates only to arrive at the cabin and sure enough... werewolves. D@mm!t! I hate it when that happens.

Halloween's coming up pretty soon. Surely there's a haunted house outfit setting up shop soon and auditioning cast & crew. Find 'em. Ask if you can do a BTS documentary of their production. Scam some names. Meet some peeps.

Here are two of my shorts that are somewhat horror-esque:

Zombie Chicken How children cope in a zombie-infested world.

Mister Schultz's Zombie Army  Young Adult Horror - Mikey and Bobby are the only ones who can stop the mad scientist next door.

Documentary Killers  Tabloid television segment, reporting on the suspicious disappearance of a film student.

Two?  I meant 'three.'
