A fun and edifying, albeit brief, read about strictly writing studio movies.
Love or hate their movies, they make lots of money writing screenplays.
Good tips on how to keep your foot in the door once you get it in there.
Solid examples of outlines and treatments to read.
Great advice on what the studios think of you based on where they park you on the lot!

I just finished this book, thought it was really insightful and also really funny. It's definitely not for those who write for independent cinema, but it is a great way to understand how the studio system works. I'd suggest this one to any screenwriter, it's a fun read and has some really good pointers from people who actually are in the position to give pointers.
