Hmm. First impressions for me were not the best. It opens with Microsoft Word. Usually, for users on here, that is a big no. A warning sign. Run! Now!
But your log-line enticed me, so I stuck around, and it actually isn't that bad. I'm baffled though... you're writing is real good. So, why don't you download a free script writing program? Celtx comes to mind.
I haven't seen you around the board yet, but if I do, then I'll come back and leave comments on the grammar/story of the ten pages I got through.

Curt Thanks for taking a look. I appreciate the advice and encouragement. Would you suggest I save my script as a PDF file and repost it or would that not matter? Sorry, I'm new to this site. Once again, I appreciate you reading and hope you are able to read some more as I would love additional feedback and advice. I look forward to reading your material as well. Take it easy.

Like the guy above you, I suggest you get a free screenwriting program. He's right about Word being a "warning sign." I usually click right out of the script and don't give it a second thought.

reaper, Thanks for the advice. I signed up for Celtx. Is there a way to convert the script I already posted or should I just use it for all my new scripts from here on out? Thanks.

I don't know about all that technical stuff. You'd have to ask somebody here who does.
If I was you, I would just start from scratch on your new program.
As for the script itself, I did browse over this a few days. One thing I noticed was that you have a bucket-load of characters.
At the end, there's a sequence of SUPERS of this and that happening to such and such. People usually find it hard to keep track of so many characters.
I would go more into detail but I'm heading out right now.
Good luck with the new program -- Celtx is fairly easy to operate.

I used to have Celtx before FD.
I think you need internet to convert the file to PDF and save it.
Celtx, like Reaper said, is easy to use.
I would suggest you rewrite this out in Celtx, because you can't just copy it into the program. I'd suggest, yea, put it in Celtx.
Good luck, make sure to get stuck in on here and read some scripts!

Thanks Curt. I'm going to take a look at Need and let you know what I think.

Corey, Read the first 12 and so far very good. I thought, perhaps, the bar scene went on too long, but your action writing and timing kept me with it. And some funny dialogue going on, as well. It's a pretty slick style you got there. Will give you more thoughts when I can, Corey. However, isn't 125 pages a bit long for a comedy? Perhaps this is an early draft and you haven't gotten around to carving it up yet. Anyway, welcome to the boards! Regards, Steve

Trelby software is FREE and 10 times better than Celtx.
Trust me. I've used celtx, and it's good.
But TRELBY is far better to use.
