Loglines are one of the first things a producer will look at. From this logline it would appear that you are a not very accomplished writer.

Supposed, is the past tense of suppose... and you use it twice. Not good to use a word like that twice in a logline.

The logline, in general, is also badly put together.

At least you can spell, so I'm guessing there is hope. Maybe you'll get some others prepared to read it, but if I was a producer looking to make a script like this, I'd chuck yours in the bin just from the logline.

It's getting tossed because it's a fan fic, not because it has a crappy logline.

Besides, they have their own hired writers and a new Friday flick has already been officially announced.

As for "The Witness," it doesn't feel like we're breaking any new ground.

It's scripts like this that give fan fiction a bad name.

Also, it's good to hone your skills with fan fics, but after a while, try something original.

You'll never get anywhere writing fan fics about the three biggest names in horror  - Jason, Freddy and Michael.

You'd meet God first before those studios would even consider looking at a fan fic.

I agree with both of these guys.

It's not bad to write a fan fic, it's actually kind of fun.

I don't know how long you've been writing screenplays, but originality is essential for succeeding.

I am a horror freak and I started writing fan fics too; Scream 5 if you want to get specific. Then I wrote my own slasher movie, which is actually in pre-production.

I'm not saying to dump the fan fics and write original stuff only. Just try to keep it to a good measure.

Sometimes I really just want to sit down and write The Incredibles 2 as I am a fan of Pixar.

Again, I don't know how long you've been writing, just saying that if you want to accomplish something, you have to write from original ideas sooner or later - hopefully sooner.
