HELLO!

I decided a few years ago to start writing under my legal name, which is Austin Bennett. Steel was  my ex's last name, and since we haven't been together in, oh, 7 years, I thought it was time to let go.

I know the few folks on Facebook know me as Austin Bennett, but I thought I'd make it official.

So, you're either female - taking a married name and now reverting to your maiden name, or you're very unconventional? Either way I'm not confused at all cause of the same cute doggy in your avatar.

The cutest doggie in the whole wide world isn't going anywhere!

Anyone who knows me knows I'm a gay guy. I used my ex's name for my early scripts, but when I started film school, the made me turn in my work with my real name.

That answers that then. I'm no longer confused.
And good to hear the dog stays.
