***Spoilers***

Richard,
I liked this.  I liked how his life kept getting worse.  Some would say they'll be underwhelmed but not me.  Two kinds of angels.  I've met a girl like the one at the resort.  Run, don't walk, from those!!

Budget is a little high for a short (car crash, access to a jail, etc) but creative people get this stuff done all the time.  Hope this gets picked up because I like the message: Be careful what you ask for!

I Got The Shaft

You're probably too young but this was a little "Twilight Zone-ish".   Not a bad thing, I guess.  Rod Serling had his stuff together.  Fooled me at first, you had me thinking that Marnie was going to turn out to be Angel.
Liked your ending and the message more.

Yet again a good one. Enjoyable read, I did wonder at the beginning if the angel was going to be sinister but you did well drawing the story away from that little idea in my head...until the end...nice work...

"Turn that off, our friend has just been killed in a fatal sunlight accident!"....

All,

I'm glad you enjoyed this one.  Actually, it grew from the title, a phrase I  heard and liked.  Funny, how stories grow from seeds.

Best
