Hey everyone.

I wasn't sure where to put this...

If you could say anything inspiring/educating to your younger self (which I could imagine was a struggling writer). What would it be?

Mine would be...

"People aren't stupid. But nobody likes to read."

Quoting a meme I have in my photos:

Do what the f&&k you want because in the end, people are a**holes and will judge you anyway.

Just Murdered by Sean Elwood (Zombie Sean) and Gabriel Moronta (Mr. Ripley) - (Dark Comedy, Horror) All is fair in love and war. A hopeless romantic gay man resorts to bloodshed to win the coveted position of Bridesmaid. 99 pages.

You can do it, but...

If you're really serious about becoming a successful writer, you have to study, study, study and write, write, write. Treat it like the job you want it to be because that's what your competition is doing.

If you however are content with it being just a hobby, then do it for fun whenever you feel like it.

Study, read, write, reply.

And take the negative comments/reviews with a pitch of salt.

Good that you found a personal passion for your own self. The price, whatever it is, success or failure, means nothing. There's no bad to find in such things.

- Worrying about the opinions of others is more dangerous than you think.
- Follow your instincts.
- "Simple" does not equal "bad."
- You never stop learning.
- Horror is life.

When/if you get an offer to sell a script, don't be a dumbshit and tell them you want a whole lot more - take the sale and get what you can.
