I am not new to writing but an ad popped up about a free screenplay contest. As a full time writer still building my fan and reader base, tight budgets are part of my daily existence, so free always perks my ears. I realized how much I enjoyed it and did a submission. Then I wrote another one and fell in love with it more so I decided instead of writing my fifth novel I would write it as a full feature script.

Glad to be joining this group and looking forward to the experience.

Welcome aboard! Five novels, that's impressive. We have free screenplay contests on here too, called the One Week Challenge or the Writer's Tournament.

That rug really tied the room together.

But there are two types. One is positive luck, where we gain something. The other is luck where we avoid some type of negative impact and remain the same... or we end up worse, just not as bad as it could have been. Like, losing one arm when it could so easily have been two. What luck!

You don't get to pick your luck it's true, but hopefully it is in the places we want it to be. Too bad we don't get to pick. But if we could there would be a trillion more movies etc but does that luck mean they are all blockbusters or does that luck then become a wish that came true and no longer luck?
