Hi all. Is anyone joined up with Mandy? They hook people up with film jobs? I got a weird email from them asking if this movie that had been submitted was something I had involvement in. The weird thing was it was the name of one of my short scripts Prom Night and the directors name was the name of a film student who was going to film it... but never did..apparently. I emailed him and he said no.
So i don't know how these Mandy guys got that info. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Can you put your film credits on Mandy?
Cheers if anyone has any insight on this.
"Turn that off, our friend has just been killed in a fatal sunlight accident!"....
I did subscribe to the free version for a while but the only 'jobs' you get posted are the ones with no pay and I wasn't tempted to apply for any. I haven't tried the subscription serve though so maybe that is better.

Mandy is a real thing, and it’s supposed to cover a broad array of jobs from writers to sound techs. Mark, I see two distinct sets of emails from them... “Daily Opportunities” and the occasional “Paid Job Match”.
You can’t see details or apply for any postings without a full profile that includes at least one production credit. This seems to be their way of filtering out unserious applicants, but since the vast majority of their jobs are unpaid I’m not quite sure who the service is designed for. Very early but not too early career film professionals?
Since I don’t have any produced screenplays, I’m stuck in Mandy Limbo with no way to see if the job matches are actually good matches. It also means I have no experience with how they try to identify your production credits other than self-reporting on the profile page.
