Hello good people

Stumbled across another streaming service in the works. Filmocracy.

They completed a Kickstarter earlier in the year and are now on Indiegogo.

Anyway, this one looks different to the others (which is nice) but the reason I am mentioning it here, is because it says it is designed to showcase indie films - I know there are a few filmmakers amongst us, so might be worth checking it out for a new place to distribute your films.

I haven't done much due diligence on them. But thought it might be interesting to some

Cool, but...

IMO, there's so much content out there I couldn't watch it all if I dedicated the rest of my life to do nothing but sit and watch movies 24/7. Besides, indie films usually appear free out there anyway. Not trying to be a wet blanket, just saying how I see it.

OK....

I was putting it out there more for the filmmakers amongst us as a (potentially) alternative platform to put their finished films on - from the brief read I had, they say they (will) pay the most out of any platform to the filmakers.

I don't doubt you, it just seems to me that there so many already out there. Most people seem to put their films up on YT, amazon or Netflix if they can get it on there, since they are already well known to the general public. That was all.
