This is another one that came out on VOD instead of theatres due to caronavorus.

I’ll admit I payed over 20 AUD to rent this and it’s mostly because I have a very counterintuitive crush on Davidson.

It wasn’t BAD but it just wasn’t funny. The length didn’t bother me at all but it could have been edited without a big loss.

The opening scene is so dark and chaotic and we never return to that space at all. I would have loved to have seen a movie that explored more of that self-destruction but instead it’s just boring. It doesn’t want to commit to the trauma theme so it’s not interesting but it’s too depressing to be funny.

Davidson was good. The physical fight scene with Burr was well directed and quite chuckly.

Bel Powley was amazing.

Wait until it’s on Netflix or whatever.

I pretty much agree with this. About 20 minutes could have gone from the film and you wouldn't lose much at all,  I give it a C+ -B -
