This kept popping up in many of the horror groups I'm in on FB and people were really talking up how full on it was. Someone even mentioned it in the same sentence as Salo. Salo being the one film that really disturbed me for a very long time after watching it and it is the only film I would definitely never watch again because of the content and how it made me feel.

So needless to say I thought this was going to be intense... and well, I guess it is.

SPOILERS... maybe

This is one gory film, and while the gore is definitely over the top it's all very well done and looks legit.

The story is pretty simple but it's well shot and well acted for the most part.

Would I compare this to Salo... no not at all. I think the comparison is laughable for many reasons, but I do think this will be too extreme for some especially considering the sexual violence and infant deaths.

For fans of gory horrors you will love this (I'm looking at you Zack).

Oh, I'm quite aware of this one. Haven't watched it yet, but it's on my list.

Yeah, this one was good gory fun but definitely not anything like Salo. Gave me a feeling that was pleasantly similar to watching an early Cronenberg movie (including one shot that I feel like was a direct reference to The Fly, but maybe I'm misremembering). The director's Canadian, too.
