Wow! That was fast. Just when I was about to put all my accurate guesses up.

Congrats, you guys.
Special Congrats to John! No longer a Bridesmaid... Or Bestman in this case.

P.S. If you get a choice, pick the mug.

I'd like to thank everyone for the opportunity to write (Drink Canada Dry). To be honest, this was the first screenplay I've ever written beginning to end. Of course, it was just the 10 pages, but the prompt gave the motivation needed to 'just write'.

I appreciate the constructive comments.

Darren Williams.

Nice one, John! Still Life was my favourite (followed closely by #Charity)

Well done to everyone and thanks for putting on these challenges!

OMG! You really DO love me! I feel like Sally Fields I'm so happy right now. It's been soooo long and soooo many bridesmaid finishes. I darn near quit writing. In fact, this is the first thing I've written in... almost two years?

I wrote this in such a rush and submitted it without proofing (duh). I can't believe I did that. Thanks for giving me a break on all the goofs. I'm definitely going to clean this up and repost it, so keep an eye out. It's going to have a little different ending too.

On a side note, right after submitting this, I received an email from a filmmaker in Atlanta wanting to produce 'An Occurrence on Owl Street', a OWC from a couple years ago. I just optioned that this week for a dollar. Does that make me a professional writer now? Woo-Hoo!!

Back to the present - Thanks again and everyone that participated. This OWC was one of the best for entries, comments, civility, and camaraderie. A damn fine group of people here. I hope all you newbies and first-time participants stick around. Nothing but good comes from participating in Simply Scripts.

Lastly, thanks to all the moderators for their hard work and their overlord, Don! You rock!

Congrats to everyone on a great OWC!  Great work John on "Still Life" and to the rest of the Top 4!  These "challenges" are rightly named.  I really had absolutely nothing in the tank on "superpowers" but then sat down and wrote my entry in about an hour and submitted it.  It is what it is LOL.  Enjoyed reading everyone's work - thanks so much for the effort - all of these are such a great learning experience, including the feedback.  Best to all and keep writing!

Congrats John!

And to everyone for getting scripts in, another high quality OWC!

*and for those that spotted it... in #Charity there was supposed to be a little scene where she discovers she cannot lift a car, and therefore shares her gift to save the world... but I was half a sleep and forgot to add it!

Congrats to STILL LIFE. It was one of my favorites too. Really enjoyed this OWC. I learn more about writing with each OWC. Keep sending them Don.
