Jeepers, I threw my hat in the ring with a last minute entry cause I feared we were headed for being able to count them on one hand.

Twenty-one entries!
Thanks for posting before I hit the hay, Don.
And thanks for all that you do for us.

I felt horrible that I wasn't able to pull one out for this OWC, but I'll be sure to take some time to read and judge! Very impressed with the turnout! Good luck, everyone!

You will be judged!

Crikey!  A great turn out. I've read half and there's some weird ones as well as the the trippy ones inspired by such a story prompt. Fascinating - best

Same here, Libby.  I'm very surprised.  Based on the chatter, it was looking grim.

John, as I had said last night and even told Wifey, I felt terrible that I had given up, so around 7:00 PM last night, I told myself I had to try. But it's a double edged sword when you throw something in at the last moment, and I foresee my arse being impaled on both edges of that damned sword.

No kidding. I thought maybe the competition wouldn't be as fierce this time but SS showed up.

A friendly reminder to all, and to any Newbs who may not realise how it works:
No grading of scripts at this point.

When the Ballot comes out you'll be able to do that.

At this point just feedback.

P.S. And of course no revealing your entry.
Carry on. 😊
