Well on first putting this in I felt ready to go on a spaghetti western-style shoot out. All sorts of good stuff. Ennio Morricone, some Mexican-style stuff, a sort of Mexican/rock song which is quite cool.

My only complaint is it's not quite as good (by a very thin margin) as Volume 1. Volume 1 had a couple of RZA tracks, and the music I just liked more. The Japanese and Japanese influenced, rather than the more Western style in this volume. Still, regardless of that this is a great soundtrack.

*** out of ****
Simply because it's not my kind of music.

The thing about Tarantino's choice in music is it works well with his films and complements the images on the screen.
Though, as a stand alone soundtrack they really don't work.
