Pretty awesome man.  Was it one of those competition things they send you in the mail that you send to them for consideration?  I did something like that and was published but I don't recall the name of the book either.  This was a couple years back.

This was the poem:  "Untitled"

Oh pretty baby,
What must it be like to be you?

Do you curl up with your pillow
And dream of angels carrying you aloft
On bright yellow sunbeams?

Are you tortured
by cool puddles of melodic
azure after a gentle mist
gone awry?

Well put on your galoshes and splash,
Pretty baby
Put on your slicker and play.

The world is your hall of mirrors:
Everywhere you look you see yourself
And I see you,
Pretty baby

You’re big now
You’re a star.

- Inspired by an actor I was (and still am) in love with to this day.  Sappy, I know.

Was it from Poetry.Com

I registerd and sent in a couple poems and they published two of mine also in a book called anthology series.  One of my poems actually was the editors choice award and it was presented by poetry.com and the international library of poetry so that got feeling pretty good. Now though I cant write no more poems and focus on trying to write a movie about the real rave culture from a raver not from someone who never been to a rave. Im talking about the movie GROOVE.

Yeah I tried my hand at poetry too.  I also got mine submitted into an anthology from poetry.com.  Only went that way once and figured out screenplays is what I do best.

You should still post down in the poetry section of the board.  Always great to see what's in that section.

(a.k.a.  come on folks, go down there...)

Yeah - it's been about two years since I wrote a poem
- aside from the one I wrote for the "Quirky Romantic Comedy."

Either way congrats.
