Sounds cool.
I have no doubt they'll make a third one, I'm just not sure if it's in 3D.

There was talk about this a long time ago, when there were ideas floating around that it might happen on a cruise ship (Speed 3 anyone?). I'm not too sure about 3D. It would probably be cool to watch, not much more beyond that.

From the information that I've found they are starting to film on March 21st and will finish June 9th. It has a release date of 2006.

The Premonition scene will take place at a theme park and will be in 3-D.

Well New Line has casted the lead roles in the film, and they are both from The Ring Two, Mary Winstead, and Ryan Merriman.

Nope! According too many horror sites, the film isn't being done in 3D! That save us a lot. The director states something about costing too much for theatres and the glasses or something like that. Find info on bloody-disgusting or upcominghorrormovies.

The films already done and scheduled for a 2006 release. And Andrew was right, it does take place in an amusement park, though I'm unsure of the 3D still.

I think 3D could work as long as they don't throw in cheap 3D blocking as was done in Nigghtmare 6 and Friday the 13th 3-D. Just silly thing like holding out objects directly toward the camera(s) for no reason except to show off the 3-D effects. I recall an idiotic yo-yo scene in Friday that seemed to be there for that sole purpose. It is these things that make 3-D movies give a rather bad taste. If it were blocked at least something like a normal movie, I think it would be a lot better, and we'd still get the 3-D effect.

Final Destination was a pretty neat film, the second one stunk but the gore was badass.  If the third one is more chaotic than that, I'll go see it even though I won't be expecting much of a plot.
