I don't brag often, but every so often...

I recently documented a small fire we had in town (nothing spectacular, but more interesting that what we usually have). Since it's a small town I know all the fire fighters so I was able to get right up to it.

I will have several pictures published in the town newsletter (going over tomorrow to decide what pictures), I sold a couple of pictures to be sent to an insurance company, and I have several others who are interested in my photos.

So.... well..... yeah........... Alan Holman's word is rule!  ;D

Cool, I take some photogaphy on the side, mainly digital and surrealistic.

Do you have any photos online?

Speaking of photography;
Do you prefer working with digital or film?

I wish I had photo's of ghosts, but, alas I don't.
And I don't yet have any photos online, but I could try.

By surrealistic I mean stuff like Salvador Dali and Andy Warhol, you know.
I'm a huge fan of digital and Jerry Uelsman as well.

Kind of odd you brought up this post when you did. Yesterday I spent the day photographing another fire, and have already gotten requests for pictures.

What's flustering is that both fires were started by people trying to burn their sheds because they no longer wanted them. Yes, they burn buildings they don't want anymore.

These people shouldn't be given matches. Or sharp things. Or permission to continue existing.

Yeah, right now I'm trying to download a few pictures on this site. How do you get them to appear in the message board?

If you're meaning having them show up in the posts rather than links to them, direct linking should work. That's how I do it, I host them and post them.

Whenever I click on the link (be it open in new window or just clicking it) it doesn't open. It doens't even register, it seems. No pop-up blocker warning, no loading, nothing.

I'll have to look into that. By the end of this school year I hope to an online gallery or something, you know.
And possibly that short detective film I made a few months back...

Here are some of my photographs (if you're wondering, that's me next to the clown).  There are only a few up right now.  I need to pay to upgrade my photo.net membership, so that I can add more pics.  Also here are a couple I more I have on my site.

My dog, Dreyfus (he was in Jaws)

Sat dishes outside the TV station I work for.  I am a videographer for the local Univision station here in Austin, TX.

Me in all my glory.

As I mentioned I am a videographer, and I have a strong interest in digital photography.  One more thing to add to my busy schedule and to take up the time that I should be utilizing to write.   :P

Got a digital camera but rarely use it at all, I make Animations a lot and have done around 8 shorts each lasting 15 minutes a piece, Editing them is proving a nightmare but I carry on til I prevail.
