"Pauly Shore is Dead" is something you'll be wishing after watching this peice of shit.

I like Pauly Shore, and his movies.  I had genuine concern when I saw the title of the thread, and I'm relieved to see that he's not in fact dead, and that it's just the title of a DVD.  Now that I know he has a new movie, I must see it!

I've been wanting to see it for awhile now but again my city refuses to sell it. That or they are just lazy bums that don't understand people enjoy wasting hard earned money on crap.

It's often more helpful for an aspiring filmmaker to watch so-called "bad" films, than to watch cinematic masterpieces.  But I wouldn't call any of Pauly Shore's stuff -- that I've seen, anyway -- "bad".  IN THE ARMY NOW, BIO-DOME, SON IN LAW, and ENCINO MAN were legitimately hilarious movies.  I vaguely remember an ENCINO MAN sequel -- something about a cave-woman -- if it wasn't an awesome dream, and was in fact a sequel, that movie was also a pleasant memory.

You forgot Jury Duty or whatever it's called exactly, I purchased Encino man awhile back and that's about the only one I could find available. Which sucks because eventhough they may not be box office hits or everyones favorite films they are better than most of today's so called comedy films.

Pauly probably should have kept doing films while it was still his time, now he's kinda fallen into obscurity which could in the long run help his career if he so decides to continue it.

Oh yes -- JURY DUTY.  That's also a good one!  Many laughs.  Some of my favourite Pauly Shore material is his stand-up comedy.  I've heard one of his albums, and it was great.  His material about "The Weasel" and "Betties" have almost Buddhist philosophies.

I also purchased this DVD from the states because this stupid place doesn't sell them, anyway I think this is a great DVD for 15 bucks or whatever I paid for it.

The film is pretty good if you like Pauly already and the features like deleted scenes with Charlie Sheen, Paris and Nicky Hilton were really weird and funny as well.

Nicky Hilton said she hated his movie and still she was in it and on the DVD, Pauly is just one of those guys who you either love or you hate but either way you know who he is.

Sheesh! When I first saw the title I got a bit worried too. I very much like Pauly Shore. I have Encino Man, of course because A- it's a good film and B- it features two goonies in it!!

I liked Bio-dome too. I would like Pauly to get his comeback off the ground...

Bio-Dome is not only a good film; it's a GREAT film.  It's an achievement in film-making.

Pauly Shore is back on TV with Minding The Store, beyond that TV series on TBS he's got nothing coming up... he wants to be a dramatic actor and not comedic so I don't really know how that's going to go... But with the new show he's not going to ever be taken serious enough to get a dramatic role.

That's a matter of opinion, really, whether he'll get "taken serious" or not.  For example, someone in power in the film industry might not take him so seriously right now.  But when I become "in power", he'll get whatever role he wants.  Mwah hah hah ha ha.  Mwah hah hah ha ha.  Mwah hah hah ha ha!

And we will call you the Producer From Hell!

Atleast for the day or two before you're fired and exiled from Hollywood.
