Why not have a section that could include short stories, novels, and poetry collections?

There is for poetry, but it is called simplyscripts not simply everything.

But, isn't this website based on scripts, and not specifically supposed to be based on poems, and novels

A tv series is not a film script either, so it's not all film scripts.

Well there are many people out there who would be interested in more then just reading scripts online, you know.

Go to an appropriate website specifically for that, there are poems and a place to put poems down on the message board. Novels place a link and start a thread in general chat, short stories well throw it on the end of your script and people will read it. Simple as that.

Well why doesn't Don create another section and see how that works out, and if it doesn't he can always delete it, you know.

I don't know but should there be anymore boards? I'm tired looking through the ones already here. The book board is barely touched accept the odd time, same with Westerns and a few others. They are a waste of space already.

I'd say create these but you have to give something to get something. That's if it were up to me, it's not. So, wait till tomorrow and see what Don thinks.

Alright, if it were to become a waste of space then I'm all for deleting them, but I think we should at least give it a chance.

The reason I suggested this is because this site already has people who pretty much know each other and their work and it'd be more of a hassle going to another site.

I find it a hassle as is with all these useless boards such as Westerns because there is 5 scripts in there and nothing more. Books has maybe a page, the bragging rights board is a selfless promotion haha I'm better than you board.

Novels, not many people have them it would be another useless board after a month or so. Short stories is a different story, that one may work.

There is a poetry board here.  There's a lot of good stuff there.  Anyone with poems, an interest of poems, or has written a poem that is lying in a desk drawer someplace collecting dust oughta post it there.  Get involved people.  Poetry is a great thing.

New guy's opinion...keep it script related.  There are so many other sites out there for poetry and prose (if you would like links to a few, PM me).

Poke

I have to agree. There are already peripheral boards, we don't need any more. The name of the site is Simply Scripts. Unproduced, short, series, it's scripts in all forms.
