Alright, I guess I'll start.

A friend and I are writing a fantasy novel which is yet to be titled. It's about a group of teens who are transported to a mysterious land.

We began writing it in eighth grade, and we're woking on rewrites now.

I think everyone should go read Feed by M.T. Anderson.  It's amazing.

Will do, same with "Fight Club." It reads like urban poetry.

yeah, I wanna read that, I loooooved the movie.  

I'd also suggest the classics like: "1984"and "Of Mice and Men." But honestly read them on your own accord and not when schools make you read them. Honestly there are cetain books I loathe for having had them overanylazed at school.

Believe it or not Im one of those people who looooooove analyzing books in school, listening to other peoples analyxation (sp) can give you a whole new picture on how to read the book.

It can, but then you also get those teachers who read into the materical far too much, you know.

yeah, there was funny skit about that in lagniappe (our schools student run, student written, play about itself)  there was a teacher in the skit trying to get his class analyze a sentence in the great gatsby "then he reached down picked up his sandwich and took a bite" was the sentence.  It was hilarious.

That's kind of the extent that my teachers watch analyze books, you know.
