Just wanted to introduce myself and get the lowdown on what goes on around here. My first script has just been posted and I was wondering what this site is really all about.

I've been cruisin' the boards and I thought I might as well jump on into the kiddy pool and get my feet wet.

This is my first attempt at screenwriting. I am primarily a visual artist, but I have recently out grown my canvas and I am looking for a new adventure. Writing my first script was a hoot so I am working on my second.

I live in bizzzzzarro world so if you like the unusual check out my stuff.
Also, I've got a site devoted to Louisiana Love Story (my first script) if you'd like to check it out. The site says more about me and my style than anything I could post on the forum. http://www.madameslovestory.com

I hope to learn a lot from you guys!

Welcome to Simply Scripts, MadameS. I too was/am a visual artist. I didn't start writing seriously until just a few years ago, but I've been an artist since I learned to hold a pencil.

I checked out your site..um...are you sure your not the queen of bizzaro world? :P I admire the amount of work you've done to express our vision. I've done very simple sketches to help me me see my characters, but you have gone way beyond that. It all intrigues me enough to want to read the screenplay.

Hi Reed!!! Thanks for checking out my site. I hope the script lives up to expectations. It is still a "work in progress". I would love some feedback! So, are you into the Hershey's semi-darkside too? If so, I would love to check out your stuff as well. If not I'd like to check it out anyway. Everyone needs a reality check now and then, even the queen of bizzzzarrro world! Thanks again!!!!!!
