AVI ARAD new captain america writer!

Apparently the new writer for Caps has been brought in, This news is old but I just found it from July this year.

As  huge Caps fan this is great news but he hasn't said who the writer is, I really think That Captain America would make a great adaptation for the comic film franchise. Ok he's not like the punisher he has super strength, but at the same time no weapons unlike the Pun.

That's why I think this would be a great film, All he has is his undestructible shield and his strength and unlike super man Caps eats bullets. Yes he can be hurt.
So we have a non weapon, super strength and a hero that can be hurt, there is a lot of Drama that could be incorporated into that.

According to Arad, he all ready has a director and star in mind.  As far as a director goes, I have no clue who would be best suited.  Maybe Roland Emmerich or even Michael Bay could do a solid job at producing the level of patriotism (and kickass action) needed for a Captain America film.  As for star, this may sound kind of strange, but after seeing the remake of "Dawn of the Dead," I have always thought character actor Jake Weber would be great in the role.  Just check out his display picture on imdb:

If he where to just buff up a bit, he could make an excellent Captain America in my opinion.

It has been confirmed that Marvel Studios' next 'independently financed' project will be a new movie for Captain America.

Quoted from Kevin Feige, president of production for Marvel Studios
"We'll have to play with Captain America as being a patriotic propaganda machine on one hand but also being a very human Steve Rogers, ... [an] interesting, fascinating hero in his own right
