I've been a fan of the show about college freshmen since its premiere in 2001, and was really sad when it was cancelled a year later. Then a few years went by and I found out Judd Apatow was working on putting a DVD set together with every piece of material from the show, and finally was released in August 2005.

While I would have been satisfied to have all sixteen of the US-aired episodes, they went ahead and included two more: God Visits, which airs in Europe, and an alternate version of "So You Have A Boyfriend", featuring Ted Nugent.

In addition, every episode has unaired footage and audio commentary that mostly consists of the cast and crew having a hilarious conversation while the episode in question plays in the background. Some of the banter between Seth Rogen and Monica Keena is especially funny.

There are three discs with 18 episodes on them, and the fourth disc is all special features: auditions, rehearsals, a 30-minute clip of Loudon Wainwright III (Hal Karp) in concert, a Q&A session shortly before cancellation (which is mysteriously sans Monica), and an unproduced script which would have opened Season 2, entitled "Lloyd's Rampage".

The show is spectacularly funny and now with the DVDs on hand, I've been able to show it to people who never got a chance to see it and I haven't had a bad review back yet. If there was a show to be resurrected, I think it should be this one.
