Ever heard of it? I'm guessing you havn't. When i saw this DVD in the Electronics section in Target, i had to check it out. Who could resist such a corny title? If you're still wondering what the frickin hell I'm talking about...well I'll explain. Set in the 60's/70's, a teenage girl who tries to fit in with the beach crowd is experiencimng blackouts in which she slips into an alternate personality. When murders begin on the beach, she begins to wonder whether her alternate peronality did them. Now, despite my vague description, this film is very funny. It spoofs slasher flicks, surf films, psychotic thriller, etc.
SPOILERS
Ive heard a few people criticize this film because it has alot of gay content. What did they expect? The guy who wrote was a gay. He plays a transvestite police "woman" in this film, which isas hilarious.  Yeah, i know, there's a part where two gay guys pretend to have a fight, but are really "wrestling" each other n the ground. That is the only "real" gay scene, but there are many references.  If people think that is bad, they should watch Scary Movie 1. (penis impalitiopn, seamen on cieling, need i say more?) So if you can track this film down, watch it. It s worth a look, atleast, Not reccomended for kids under 12, although most the stuff would go straight over thier heads. Best quote-
"who do ya have to f*** around hewere to get a hotdog?"
"I'm fine with my widow's pensions..er..pension."

Yes... it was based on a stage play and it was about as bad as this movie was. This movie had a 60's/70's vibe, set and laid in that era... Basically anyone who remembers GIDGET, FRANKY AVALON and ELIVS movies will dig this movies vibe, but only in moderation.

The movie was pretty terrible.
