What can you say... Lucio Fulci at his best and perhaps most bizzare.

This was a made for tv italian flick, but that didn't stop the godfather of Gore from doing his thing. No way.

While not loaded with gore or blood, this movie didn't call for too much of it anyways. However, this movie is perhaps one of the most mind boggling of any movie you'll ever see.

an old couple with a fetish for clocks hold up in a large italian villa .... well, comprised of lots of clocks. The strange thing about these clocks, however, they turn backwards instead of forwards.

A couple breaks into the large, lavish estate, to rob it blind and kill the old crows who live there... well, the movie takes a bizzare twist at this point or around this point and the owners get the upper hand... of the clock that is.

The movie twist and turns and goes thru so many bizzare plot points it's hard to keep up with but if you do, it pays off in the end... It pays off with a very Twilight zone type ending... but maybe even more out there than that.

The ending is what makes the movie, I believe. I think when you realize

"SPOILERS"

The couple burried in the attic were in fact the old couple the whole time... It makes you say... "WOW!"

Anyways, The movie is strange. It makes you think and ponder and ponder some more... trust me. It's for fulci fans and Fulci fans only, I believe.

But if you give it a chance you'll see why he was so talented and could craft a story better than most anyone. The story here is very deep. It has you feeling sorry for the bad guys at times, and I hate that in most movies but here it seems to work in reverse much like the entire movie did.

Just... just watch it and you'll see what I mean. Very original and it's never been done before or since. A movie that tricks you into thinking your watching the movie one way but find out you're actually going back in time... way back in time.

Fulci was a genuis, he was. I laugh at people who believe Craven and Romero, Carpenter and Hooper and O'bannon and King have anything on Fulci. He's a legend and yet again this movie proves why.
