With this entry, I think the series should be declared officially dead. It's the perfect example of a movie that the filmmakers knew would turn out bad, so they attempt to cover their asses by calling it a comedy. Necropolis was bad, this is worse. Appearently Rave is a direct sequel to Necropolis. Yet the cast seems to have no knowledge of their earlier zombie exploits.
The basic plot is they find a canaster of the poison or whatever the fuck it is, and after discovering you can take it to get high so they start marketing it to college kids as a drug called, and get this, Z. So of course, people become zombies, military comes, and in the end no one really gives a fuck.

Wow, I saw some of this around four in the morning the other... um... morning, and I have to say it was pretty God awful.  I can't really give it an honest review as I only watched about half an hour of it, but, oh, what a half hour!  Basically, I'm to guess that this one sucks the whole way through.  I'm also going to go out on a limb and guess that the fourth one also sucks complete aish.

One thing is for sure: this defiantly has the most annoying character to ever "grace" a zombie film.  I don't remember his name, but he was supposed to be the token techno/rave/pothead character that shitty horror films seem to rely on these days for "comedic relief."  Plus his voice seemed to be dubbed or something.  It just added to the awfulness.

The real shame here is what would seem to be the death of director Ellory Elkayem as a legitimate filmmaker, as I actually enjoyed his little seen debut "Eight Legged Freaks."  With "Freaks," I thought he did a pretty good job balancing horror and comedy, and ended up making a movie I was very surprised I liked.  Now, though... well... it's a shame.
