I hope people don't cast this message aside and label it 'spam', because that really isn't my intention. I run a website called DROP. DROP serves two purposes. First and foremost, it is a community for writers, a safehouse. Secondly, DROP accepts manuscripts. Using a public voting system, DROP helps amateur writers get their work published.

I feel many people here would be interested in something like this. If you are, you can find the site at: http://www.dropmag.com

Talk about anything that you would like not related to screenwriting. - These are Don's words that can be seen right at the beginning before you post.

I don't want to come off as the bad guy but like usual I seem to be the only one who cares about the rules.

Don, maybe you should have an automated message that sends to all new members with the rules as they don't seem to see those words I posted nor do they read the rules eventhough they are clear and so so so so easy to follow.

Wesley,

I checked out the website, and it doesn't appear to be related to screenwriting, since they are looking for novels rather than scripts.

That explains itself... no?

If you don't care about the rules as most of these new members seem not to that's your choice but I deal in facts and the fact is he/she said that not me.

If I was so wrong why would Don move it? Point taken, thank you.

The simple fact is even if it is a book writing website it still was in the wrong place as this board, I'm Looking For, hell even the Books thread would have been much more suited.

Well considering that the two threads I have started in General Chat were about the White Sox winning the Series, and cooking a turkey breast, I think I've shown that I am capable of adhering to the board guidlines.

You're absolutely right, there probably is a better place for it, which was proven by Don moving it.  I was simply pointing out that it really didn't have anything to do with screenwriting.

There is a scriptwriting section in the forums.
