I am so desperate to write right now that I can't even stand it.  I have a passion for writing and me sitting around not doing it is just driving me absolutely insane.  Its just that I have no story ideas and everything I think of seems stupid/pointless.  I've tried everything.  I've walked around, watched movies, read the news, everything.

Does anybody have any advice or have even felt this way before?

Everyone feels this way.  It's called writer's block.  Usually when I can't write something, I just let it go and write a blog or something.  Yes, a blog, go and make fun of me.  I usually write about everyday stuff, like today or tomorrow I'm going to write about why the president of Iran is a dumbass for calling the Holocaust a myth.  That usually gets my creative gears crankin'.  

It's like constipation.  Just give it time and it'll come :)

So, it's like a bran muffin for the soul....

Ive said it before and i will, in fact, say it again: Join an improv troupe.

If you don't mean being made by Hollywood than yes but if you mean just being filmed by an indy guy and released than you might have a chance.

Some people on this site have had their work made so they could watch it so you always have a chance if you aren't too picky about who makes it.

One thing I've learned is that I'm either one of two things...
1)I have no story ideas at all for an extended period of time.
2)For like a week I'm bombarded with ideas like crazy.

I started this thread in the mist of a slow time.  Most of the reason was because I wanted to write so bad and got frustrated.  But the holiday has enlightened me and I have two HUGE ideas.

Expect a feature length and a television series from me in the near future.  ;)
