Welcome to the boards Kevan. Is this your first time telling your life story to a group of strangers? Maybe you should put it in the treatment section and have somebody steal it for a script idea....

Third one the title and idea has come from a child's nursery rhyme called MONDAY'S CHILD...

Dude, I absolutely love this idea.  It's so good I can't stand it.

I don't think the software discussion left any lasting scars.  Give Dr. Mabuse a second chance.  He's a great guy.  Heckuva' writer, too, and that's what really counts around here, I suppose.

Welcome aboard.

Don't listen to Bert...one more slip-up and you'll find out why they call him the "Dr."...

Jokes aside, welcome to the boards, Kevan.

Kevan, I've been extremely curious, why kevan with an "a"?  I've never seen that spelling before.  Any reason, or are you just a big fan of the "a"?

Kevan, great introduction!

He's not a Brit.  He's Irish.  I can't think of too many Irish that refer to themselves as 'Brit.'

That was actually a serious point I was making, Andy.  Kevan may not like being referred to as a Brit.

Sorry about that.  I guess what you mentioned about your name stuck with me.

Pleased to meet you, too.

For St Patrick sake, Kevan, at first listen your name sounds to me like KEVAN AIR CRAFT.

In portuguese A sounds like AH, tehn I pronounced KEVANNE...(oh God! )Anyway, Welcome and have a looooong stay!

Bert, you flatter me. You really do.

Maybe one day I'll get the hang of this quoting malarky.

Welcome, Kevan. It's a shame we got off on the wrong foot. No hard feelings, eh?

That's an interesting life story. Sounds like you have a wealth of experience. I look forward to reading your work.

It's good to have another Brit around here, but sadly my good old English spelling has been 'bastardized' to the point of no return.
I've never been to Chester but I hear it's very nice. I've spent a lot of time in Liverpool and Manchester though, two of my favourite cities.

Welcome

Hey Kevan,

I didn't mean anything by the Brit comment. Just nice to see people from this neck of the woods more too.

Glad you like the photos and thanks for the compliment. I just finished a 3 month trek around Mexico and America and got back to the UK before Christmas. Am off again in March to Canada for a year too. Itchy feet again   :)

Why, I'm a pirate of course! Am totally crazy about The Goonies, hence my script and hence the zillions of photos in my account... lol! And I've always wanted to say that chat up line under my avatar to a bloke. Still haven't, but dammit, I will one day  :K)

Sadly, unlike Martin, I've never been to Manchester or Liverpool. Pathetic really, as I've tavelled way more in other countries! (Martin, I can't spell anymore either. My spelling keeps mixing with American spelling and can't tell them apart anymore)

PS - Bert, WAIT! There's a pic of Martin on this site? Where is it??? I have my own made up face for him, but must see the real thing. Stewart/MacDuff too.

No, sadly there is no pic of me on the site. I self-indulgently edited Bert's post.

I'd love to see your made up face though. Do you have an artist's impression?

You've never visited Liverpool or Manc? Shame on you! Then again, I haven't been to London since I was 12. Even my German girlfriend has been there more times than me  :-/

Kevan, have you posted any short, feauture script here?

By the way, I lived per 4 years in the London’s Northeast, Colindale. I awarded by Birkbeck College a University of London the Extra Mural Certificate in Media Practice (good and pleasant days!). I know there's a long way to Tiperery but I never been in there.

Kevan,

Welcome aboard.  My name's Mike, and I practically live here.  In fact, it's probably a rarity to look at the bottom of the screen and not see my name there.

I need to get out more.

I live in Runcorn in Cheshire - where the Cheshire Cat comes from. I live about less than two miles where Reverend Dodson was born and based a lot of his characters and story Alice Through the Looking Glass or Wonderland.. Lewis Carol to you and me..

What a weird coincidence. i come from Sunderland which is a place that was also an inspiration for a lot of Alice in Wonderland. Lewis Carroll spent a lot of time here and even wrote Jabberwocky while in Whitburn.

There are some other links but I can't be bothered to look them up.

So me and you are both from the North of England and live in towns that inspired the Alice stories... spooky

YAY! I won!! Wohoo!!

Arsenal are brilliant, no matter how many slip ups they have, lol!!!!

I did PM to you already yesterday. How weird....I'll resend the PM again, not sure why you didn't get it now.

Yup, you are correct, I'm a London gal, lol. 23??? Where'd you get that from? I love you  :K) Sadly, no. Am 27 years old.

Not a veteran by any means, but thanks. Flatterer.

How'd you know I like a drink or three???? ... you must have found that drunk thread on here somewhere.... :o

You lost me at MT and ISP, but I understood PC  ;D

I pm'd you again, but still nothing???? How about you PM me your email and then I'll email it to you?

Yeah well, I don't often drink, so when I do, I try to make up for all the sober in between times. That's usually when I end up getting high on lawn fumes...

That website is old. I think I said 25 and that was in 2003. Need to update it actually. Thanks for the reminder.

LOL - well, now you know I really am a goonies nut, looking through some of those pics, lol!!
