Where did my Remake Central thread go? It took my an hour to find all those movies and put them in there how they are. I am pretty pissed off.

I deleted it for reasons which I have already explained to Andrew in a PM.

You stated that i should make this thread in the General Section...

I made a thread with hundreds of movies that will be released in the next 5 years that are all remakes. You thread is titled Movie/Television Rumor. How is that the wrong place?

You could of at least locked the thread or asked Don to move it instead of just deleting the whole thing. (Which i still don't understand why you did)

Sorry i'm being a dick about this but yeah.

If you want to discuss a movie, then start a thread about it. But I've got problem when you start one single thread regarding hundreds of upcoming movies. Having an entire section for Movie Rumor sort of nullifies the need for just one thread regarding hundreds of movies.

Maybe you're right and I should have locked the thread, but I have no idea were Don could have moved it to. I hope you don't take the deletion personally, it wasn't meant as a personal attack.

No personal attack at all man. i never thought of it like that.

But i didn't want to start 100 threads about each seperate movie. I thought one thread with all of them could of been used. Everyone could refer to that one thread and discuss their thoughts on that one thread. Not 100 different threads. That would be out of control.

I smell the start to a war coming. It seems that so many people are making enemies lately and taking sides. I can't wait until the week of nothing except script review. Everyone will be able to cool off.

There is no war coming; this is just a simple disagreement. Andrew has an opinion and I disagree with it, but I still respect him and his opinion.

Let me restate my last post. Basically I'm saying that when arguments like this rise sometimes people do take things personally, and it becomes an all out war on angering the other person.

I'm just saying... A lot of people on this forum take things way too seriously. I'm not naming anyone, but some people seem to become razzed out because of a simple argument like this.

Since I've been viewing these boards... (Probably for a little less than a year.) I've seen so many arguments turn into personal attacks, and from the events that have been occurring lately things have been heated up in the forums.

I'm not saying that you in paticular are starting a war, but just the ammount of arguments which have turned ugly lately.

In this case, however, no war was started.  Simply two people who disagreed on something.  They were able to discuss it without being assholes.
