I am now a produced screenwriter.
I received my copy of Boneyard Tales III in the mail today. What a surprise! I didn't even know that they had started on that one yet.

It's quite different from what I had imagined in my mind, but still very cool. They computer animated the four shorts. My screenplay, "Tattoo" is the first of the four movies on the DVD.

I beamed when I saw the title of my screenplay and my name fill the entire screen.

It's been a wonderful day!

Thanks everyone.  ;D

I went to Hellfire's website today to let them know I received the DVD, and to thank them. It seems like they may be going under. I hope not.

Devilhawk Productions and Hellfire Productions are connected. So if someone would like to purchase the DVD maybe you can get a hold of them through Devilhawk, but I'm not sure.

I'm going to go to Devilhawk's website and poke around. I'll e-mail them and see what I come up with, too.

Yes...you must tell us how to find this!

I am super-jazzed for you, Cindy.

So, this is all animation?  Describe it a little more for us.

Bert,

It looks like a video game program.
They cut a lot of my script out, but kept the main story there. They turned a 30 page script into a 10 minute film, but it was still alright.
It opened up with a vampire rising up out of a casket and going off into the darkness. Later, some guy sneaks up to the casket and the vampire is back inside it. That's when the vampire gets a stake through his heart. When he struggles, he is hit in the face with the mallet, too.
From there it went to Darryl thinking about a way to make Dracula's blood live again, then him making the tattoo ink and adding the blood he scraped from Dracula's stake.
It showed the tattoo artist's girlfriend after getting her tattoo. She was alright. (not sick)
Then it showed the other girl who's boyfriend broke up with her, and she was next to get a tattoo, this time with the new ink that he had received by special delivery.
The girl passes out while getting her tattoo. Everyone thinks she had an allergic reaction to the ink. The ink was in some wierd looking bottles when they got it, too, so the tattoo artist dumps the ink down the drain (thinking it's bad ink).
Later, the tattoo artist is attacked by the girl who had gotten a tattoo with the new ink, she is a vampire now. She attacks her friend, too.
Then it ends with a bunch of vampires walking the street.

I wish it would have shown the tattoo guy dumping the ink down the drain, and then the sewer system, people drinking water. It would have made it a lot clearer as to why all the vampires were in the street at the end. I thought it was pretty cool, though.

So they are having another contest this year?
I will definately be entering it.
Their website said they were having financial problems...
Posted by: dogglebe (Guest), March 3rd, 2006, 11:15pm; Reply: 21
Maybe I'll enter 'Linus' in it.  I find it scarier than 'Dreams in Dust and Marble.'

Watch your movie a couple of times, Cindy, and let us know what you think.

Whoa, whoa, whoa...........

I was a winner in the first two contests and have yet to see anything!

Cindy--

Is there any contact information on the package you received?

Something is rotten in Denmark.

I never heard a word from them after the contest other than I had won. Then I went to get my mail, and there is was. Boneyard Tales III. It had the same address as where I sent the script for the contest.
I suspect you will be getting copies of Boneyard Tales I and II the same way.
Let us know.

I checked moviebytes, and there's no contest scheduled for this year.
